Pre-Match. Magpies v. Bombers
Moderator: bbmods
Amazing how many people here dont quite get the sub rule .
I think Kelly has to come into calculations at some point doesnt he?
Out: Murph, McStay, Markov (assuming Adams is Clear), Wilson (sub, nowhere near AFL standard)
In: Kelly, Krueger, JDG.
Sub: Markov

The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
At what stage of the game? Has he actually been cited? If so, can you flag which news source is reporting it?90 nice wrote:Another one that could miss Anzac day is Adams has been sighted for a sling tackle and could miss 1 match from the saints game.
This wasn't flagged in any of the broadcast. I'd like to go and find the incident in a replay.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...
Neither did I... I'll hold fire until the MRP comes out today, but if all clear I really wish posters on here would rely on some basis of truth in their posts... If he was in fact 'cited', there would be some mention of it. There may have been an incident, however, and we shall find out shortly.

Found this by Jay Clark on The Australian:
"Taylor Adams is likely to attract MRO scrutiny for his tackle on St Kilda’s Seb Ross, which led to the Saints midfielder’s head hitting the turf as he was dragged down.
The incident is complicated by the involvement of two other Magpies who made contact with Ross in the same sequence, but Adams could face a one-week ban like Merrett if the impact on Ross is deemed to be “medium” rather than “low”.
We'll know in a couple hours.... (fingers crossed). If he does get cited, surely they will challenge given a) its barely been raised anywhere and b) everyone seems to be successful at the tribunal this year.

He comes in late (Saints player is already tackled) and slings him to the ground where contact is made between head and ground.
Will likely be a week or, if we are very lucky, a fine.
Fighting against the objectification of woman.
Kelly has no form in the VFL whatsoever to deserve a senior call up. Ruscoe on the other hand has been in good form, and was apparently BOG in the ressies.Haff wrote:Amazing how many people here dont quite get the sub rule .

To my mind, Ruscoe is a certainty to play.
Although the VFL got well beaten on Sunday, I thought that Will Kelly played quite well. If Kelly can’t get a game in defence with the injuries that we have, then they might as well delist him right now.RudeBoy wrote:Kelly has no form in the VFL whatsoever to deserve a senior call up. Imho Kelly has plenty more upside than Ruscoe.

Adams is a maybe as in terms of any suspension it could be a fine he has been offered a 1 match ban the word is offered so I guess if it’s an early plea then he gets a fine
I’m not sure if it’s confirmed as a 1 match ban.
Must say it was a bit reckless by Adams
So if he is rubbed out I’ll bring in Carmichael.
