While it’s only a small sample size, I’m not surprised to see Dean right up there for disposal efficiency. I don’t remember him missing a target with a weighted kick since he came back into the side as Dean V2. One more weeks worth of stats and I reckon he will pass Moore for efficiency but that’s more about Moore than it is Dean

Champion Data analyst Daniel Hoyne considers Collingwood the second-best team in the AFL behind Sydney after Round 13.

Rd 13 update (expected vs actual output)
My observations:
- Nick is a gun - exceeding even his own lofty expectations
- "Sum" (cumulative additional output vs expected output) probably a close match to Copeland polling. Those who have played more get a boost
- Be good to get Joe Richards back (although his scores benefit from a low hurdle)
- Was clearly something wrong with Pendles and Jordy before they went out
- Moore vs Doggies was an outlier for his season so far
- First 3 games + Dogs + Freo the only games where the collective underperformed vs combined expectations. Makes sense...
- Kreuger's game was pretty good (again aided by a low "expected" probably
- Stats say Schultz is behind the eightball - but as has been discussed, I'm not one for the "bad trade" bandwagon...

It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...
Thought I would chuck this up as well (should do the same for our opponents)
Sandra Sully with the late news: our team has got weaker as injuries have hit and we have had better and better players on the sidelines...
(I always like to see it visually though)
