Same as odds for a Haw. flag.
Mitchell is easily the best coach of 2024.
You're mixing 2 diff. things: being the best coach and winning Coach of the Year.
It's like the Brownlow going to a KPP. Can happen but (folks claim) doesn't happen enough.

Pity GWS & Port are locked into playing each other 1st week finals.
Sydney odds too short, I reckon. Pathetic recent form. Their problem: no good talls.
The injury status of Will Day will decide whether the Hawks odds are way too short...

Just got a feeling that GWS are going to be peaking at the right time to get their first flag. Of course I hope the Pies can rebound and put some wins together, but I think the injury curse has nailed us.
Took a 500/1 multi for a couple of bucks today...
GWS - Flag/Nick - Brownlow/Hogan - Coleman
Hogan @ 7/1 (3rd in betting) looks good value, only 5 goals behind Curnow who's 4/5 favourite. Ben King 2nd fave at 7/2.
Curnow - 46
King - 43
Hooogann - 41
Waterman (16/1)/McKay (11/1) - 39
Treacy - 35 (40/1)
Cameron (33/1)/Langford (66/1) - 33
This is looking a reasonable chance, fingers crossed.

Halfway through the last 1/4 Brisbane were 40/1 for the flag, Kelly put $5 on. If they make the GF she just has to plonk $100 on the opposition and she can't lose.
She's been pretty lucky lately

Guess she figured she needed to step up to the plate to make up for your GWS bets.

Was this the longest odds for Brissy? Good job to get to the GF and possible flag from there. Bit jealous.

Yes, that was Brisbane's longest premiership odds during the season.

As always, I was totally right.
Brownlow: more complaints 'bout it being too midfielder-dominated.
Coach of the Year: Fagan. (Announced before the GF, so ya don't have to win the flag to win Coach of the Year! Doubt you'll win it if ya don't at least make a PF but.)
