Unfortunately, you are simply parrotting the propaganda of the Netahanyu government. Your latest pro-genocide post above is a rerun of the comments of Isaac Herzog, President of Israel, who at a press conference on October 13 declared:
“It is an entire nation out there that is responsible. It is not true this rhetoric about civilians not being aware, not involved. It’s absolutely not true. They could have risen up. They could have fought against that evil regime which took over Gaza in a coup d’etat.”
In other words, every man, woman and child in Gaza is a legitimate target of the Israeli genocide machine, otherwise known as the IDF.
The truth is, that Israel is a terrorist state. Its government is full of rabid fascists who draw their inspiration from Meir Kahane, and regard Palestinian people as "animals" who must be exterminated for the redemption of the Chosen People. These are the monsters whose propaganda you keep repeating.

This is the creepy level dimwits living in internet fantasy worlds in mummy's basement allow themselves to stoop.

And not a whimper over the fact that there hasn't been a single prosecution of a single person of consequence for the unimaginable death, displacement, destruction and domino effects of Iraq. Should those victims come for you because of your vote for Little Johnny? And you actually had a wealth of knowledge, time and possibility compared to these poor sods.

No, but let's demonstrate how pathologically deranged we too are by crushing an entire peasantry to the last sick orphan whose say over the world extends to choosing between donated beans or lentils - that is, if any have been allowed through by The Party this month.

I don't think you realise how this is the worst of recorded history that you are cheering on. Do you think of yourself as, say, a good little Stalinist giving all for The Party?

David wrote:That's a pretty dark way of looking at it, WIAN. Does that include kids who've never voted in their lives? Given the last election was in 2006, you'd have to be 35 or over to have ever voted for anyone in Gaza (and that's not even taking into account the 56% of Gazans who did vote in that election but didn't vote for Hamas).

Otherwise, there are plenty of people here in Australia who've voted for fascist or pro-war political candidates, but I'd never advocate them being killed or maimed for it.

Anyway, at this stage of the conflict it's entirely possible to turn this around on apologists for this military campaign: you could just as easily say that Israeli citizens are responsible for their extremist government's actions in Gaza and the West Bank and thus that acts like the October 7 massacre are justified. No doubt there are Hamas supporters who believe that precisely. And why not? The IDF have killed more civilians in the last three months than Hamas have in the entire history of their organisation. But that's a bleak and dehumanising way to view the world, and I'd like to think we can be better than that.
It's naive to think that everyone else are innocents. Palestinians are indoctrinated to hate Israel and to support their destruction - yes, even the children. I'm not saying that what's happening is good - it's clearly a humanitarian disaster. But it is a consequence of decisions in the past (to vote in Hamas) and then to indoctrinate the general populous to hate and want to destroy Israel.

If you dive into the 2006 elections, you'll see Hamas was a clear winner in the districts of North Gaza and Gaza. 5/5 seats in North Gaza all went to Hamas and 5/8 seats in Gaza went to Hamas (3 independents). 57% of the total vote in Gaza was for Hamas compared to 36% for Fatah. That's a smashing in anyone's language.

You say we can do better. What exactly would you do? How would you do it differently if you were in charge of the IDF?

It's about time the US and UK grew some balls and attacked Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

The US and UK have struck Houthi installations in Yemen. Biden ordered the strikes on Yemen territory without Congressional approval.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/11/us/p ... rikes.html

Only a day ago, Blinken was wandering around the Middle East blathering on about how his government was intent on preventing the spread of the conflict.
The next day, the US directly intervenes into the conflict and illegally carries out military strikes on a sovereign nation, thereby greatly raising the danger of escalating the conflict beyond Gaza.
There was nothing illegal about the Houthis'actions in the Red Sea. They fully justified their actions under international law through the UN requirement that all nations must act to prevent the occurrence of genocide.

The US and Israel are terrorist states acting outside all international law.

Furthermore, Biden has just named Australia as one of the nations that participated in the strikes on Yemen.

Furthermore, Pine Gap is being used to locate targets in Yemen (as well as in Gaza)

The Albanese government has just crossed another line. It has passed from political support for genocide to military support for genocide.

The answer to your last comment, provided by Richard Medhurst on Twitter:

" Yemen fulfilled their duty under Art. 1 of the Genocide Convention to prevent genocide.

If you don't like Yemen firing at commercial ships, then you shouldn't fire 2000lb bombs at Palestinians.

All non-Israeli ships can pass np"

I feel sorry for you. It must be very socially isolating to be a supporter of genocide and the fascistic ideology of Zionism.

On Nov 19, Houthi rebels using a helicopter, launched a commando-raid on a Japanese-operated cargo vessel, the MV Galaxy Leader has been held near Yemen's Red Sea port of Hodeida ever since.

So, yeah, continue your bullshit about Houthi's allowing non Israeli ships to pass through unhindered.
