110% YES from me...

He takes lots of marks and kicks lots of goals.

It all depends on what we'd have to give up.

Well, in 1966 they managed one more than us, but otherwise over the last 100+ years, they're 13 behind. In fact, they have 1 in 100+ years. 1. 1. One. Uno. Fkuc all. 1 more than Freo, same as the bulldogs, less than everyone else.

Did I mention they've got 1 flag in 100+ years?

Sorry, no. If Fevola plays for Collingwood, I wouldn't desert the club, I'd probably just stop watching Pies games for a few yeas till they retire the ugly scumbag. In the meantime, I dunno, maybe I'd watch Essendon instead, or maybe Sydney (I don't mind the Bloods), or perhaps take up watching Rugby Union for a while.

But the bottom line is, I am not interested in supporting a team with that ugly scumbag toolhead in it.

If I was a player, I'd ask to be traded. Who TF would want to share a locker room with that F-wit tool?

OK, I've had a good think about what I said, sat down and thought what I said through until I was sure that I had considered it deeply enough from every angle, taking my time to get it right. That took at least 5 seconds, possibly even longer. I still think the same.

If Fevola is the price of a premiership, I'd rather finish second. Or ninth. No sporting prize is worth having that tool play for your team. It's the same as sex: if sleeping with Betsy the farmyard pig is the price of getting laid, I'd rather go without.

Who ever gets fev's services,he will turn it on.
Mark my words, even if carlton are doing this to scare him,it will make a huge change.
We have had issues with players before and they have pulled up,why couldnt fev with us.

Id rather him kick 5 goals for us,then to kick 8 against, and blow kisses at joffa, reminding us that we could of had him.

Its time

Eddie mcguire,------**** act now.

Jesus I'm laughing my arse off at this Tannin. It's beautiful mate. It's frickin' funny and it's because it comes from your heart. He is a "scumbag toolhead". I wouldn't be comfortable with him playing for us either and I'd need some serious convincing that he's right for us if we do get him.

Maybe this is what the plan is for 2010?

I can see it now.

Captain Nick Maxwell makes a statement to the media as follows.

"The players of the CFC have collectively agreed that since being defeated by St Kilda and Geelong in our Finals in 09 we obviously over rated ourselves. Therefore we declare we are not interested in recruiting champion Fullforward Brendan Fevola or anyone else of his calibre as it doesn't fit in with our plans for 2010. We want to finish SEVENTH!"

And people would like us to model ourselves on them... I think Geelong is a better method to model on. They have gone through the draft and grabbed their side that way. (aside from Ottens)

Everyone is so short sited. We are way ahead of where we should be with our list.

Brad Scott when presented with Geelongs lists first reaction was, I look at this list and I can't help but think most of them were in the side that we used to beat up on.

The nucleus of that Geelong side went through a hell of a time getting to where they are now. It's not like they have been awesome from day one. They bided their time and worked through the draft. They now have a lot of players 24+ which is prime age for footballers.

Our list atm is consisted of many players 22 and below. Thus we should bide our time build ourselves up and give ourselves the best chance of attacking 4-5 Grand finals in a row. This way we have our best chance at a flag.

If we get Fev, we will have 3 years to get it right. St Kilda and Geelong will be around for at least one of them. So I'm going to say prob 2 years at getting a flag. And even then most of our players will be around the 24 yo range and only just coming into prime when Fev is jumping off.

As I said if he was dids age I would jump at him, to me he is 1-2 years to old for what he is going to cost.

Please everybody get a grip.

I sat and watched Fev doing a warm up before a game against us last year. His kicking ability is unbelievable. He would be the walk up best kick in our team by a mile. Our conversion rate inside 50 would shoot through the roof. I'm not saying we have get him but at least lets be very aware of what he offers on the field.

Like Geelong we are better served with being patient and backing our list, only making minor tweaks on the way if necessary. Signing Fevola would be a massive mistake.

Who at Geelong has been one of the most influential players for them during the last 3 years?

Brad Ottens.

They gave the tiges a bit for him, and he was no spring chicken. Horses for courses.

So Geelong drafted and use father son picks then went and picked up an experienced and highly talented KPP to finish them off, I agree lets model ourselves on Geelong and get FEV

David's quote: I reckon we all have some idea of how close Dids was to being on the market at the end of last year. Why? He is and was a brilliant player, but made the club (i.e. corporate organisation) look bad.

If we had put Didak up for trade, any club that overlooked him because of his off-field issues would have to be half a dozen sandwiches short of a picnic.

I doubt that we need to look much further than that. Would Fevola be on the trade table if he hadn't gotten drunk at a function and made a fool of himself? No.[/quote]

^ David, might I make one slight adjustment ... would Fevola be on the trade table if he hadn't gotten drunk at a function and made a fool of himself and others.
