Can you get over to England in time for tonights last day? Your bowling skills have been exceptional lately.Pies4shaw wrote:Surely by now you can read the sarcasm in my posts?watt price tully wrote:Having a mental ilness does not mean you are going to harm others (or yourself). Unless I've misread you (that is, it went through to the keeper) he felt there were too many hispanics in El Paso from my cursory readings so far.Pies4shaw wrote:Not "racist", wpt, "troubled". It's the mental illness that kills, not the racist or the gun attached ton the racist. This is why this is a "terrible tragedy", rather than, say, "an appalling act of white supremacist aggression".
And yeah, I spotted the sarcasm, just didn't bite.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Trump tweeted his condolences on Twitter after the news broke and was promptly absolutely eviscerated by people telling him it was his fault and he was to blame..The FBI and secret service just got a whole new list of social media profiles to check.
What's interesting, at least to me, is the different response to the El Paso and Ohio incidents.
The El paso guy seems to have had different motivation, strolled around a crowded shopping centre for about 20 minutes shooting people before confronted by Police where he peacefully surrendered.
The Ohio guy had body armour on, started with his sister and her BF and in total shot 27 people, 9 dead, in less than 1 minute before he was shot and killed by Police. That's some serious response time

Well, as we're all picking cherries here's mine. The top 8 mass shootings in the USA.
1. Las Vegas (58.). Stephen Paddock. Motive unknown. No link to white supremacy.
2. Orlando (49). Omar Mir Seddique. Pledged allegiance to Isis after the attack. No link to white supremacy.
3. Blacksburg, VA (32). Seung-Hui_Cho. Mental illness. No link to white supremacy.
4. Newtown, CT (27). Adam Lanza. Mental illness. No link to white supremacy.
5. Sutherland Springs, TX (26). Devin Kelley. Motive unknown. No link to white supremacy.
6. Killeen, TX (23). George Hennard. Motive unclear (hatred of women?). No link to white supremacy.
7. San Ysidro, TX (21). James Huberty. Motive unclear. No link to white supremacy.
8. El Paso, TX (20). Patrick Crusius. Link to white supremacy.
(2) and (8.) had political motives. The rest seem to support the view that mental illness and guns don't play well together.

The..." he's a racist" rants of the left are seriously becoming nauseating now... talk about flogging a dead horse, but they won't let the truth put a dent in their sick agenda....
Twitter Suspends Account Allegedly Linked to Ohio Shooter...
Twitter suspended an account Sunday evening allegedly linked to the gunman who killed nine and wounded dozens outside a Dayton, Ohio, bar early Sunday morning, after several reports identified the account and noted its left-wing political orientation
Heavy.com reported: “Connor Betts, the Dayton, Ohio mass shooter, was a self-described ‘leftist,’ who wrote that he would happily vote for Democrat Elizabeth Warren, praised Satan, was upset about the 2016 presidential election results, and added, ‘I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding.

Like I was saying earlier: obfuscation by juxtpostion is the MO of the right wing racist groups and their media supporters as you continue to demonstrate.Wokko wrote:Your racism is showing.watt price tully wrote: A piece of rubbish deliberately obfuscating arrests with right wing white male murderers.
Need to look a bit deeper (and wider)
No link to Pizzagate?

Yes. The thread would be much shorter if people wouldn't assert the irrelevant and unassertable - but some posters do keep cycling back to the same indefensible white supremacist non-arguments.watt price tully wrote:Like I was saying earlier: obfuscation by juxtpostion is the MO of the right wing racist groups and their media supporters....

Why do we need to have this bullshit debate about which political affiliation, social or ethnic group these mass shooters fall into?
Is there a point to be established that I'm completely missing?
It's pretty clear that the El Paso shooter had racist motives, and ridiculous ones given the history and demographics of El Paso and that he was following in the same vein as the Christchurch shooter.
The other three shootings over that weekend had no discernible political motivation.
is this some sort of dick measuring contest that i missed the invite to?
