True. And those posters will never admit they were wrongDave The Man wrote:Even done this Year Even.Jezza wrote:Great news.
Deal signed before the start of a new season.
3 years is a good duration. Not too short, not too long.
Shows how far off the people who Reported that he would go to Melbourne end of next season
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

Exactly. He did make it clear that he would look elsewhere if he was not happy with the coaching appointments.think positive wrote:yes and im wrapped he did, because now it really means something
His video on the CFC website is a magnificent endorsement of our new coaches, and we should celebrate it.

Congrats Brayden Bruz Maynard on 150
The 25 year old achieves 150 games next round against GWS. Let’s get the party started!
Maynard will become just the third player taken from the 2014 NAB AFL Draft to reach 150 games in round 15, after Gold Coast co-captain Touk Miller (round 12, 2022) and Brisbane vice-captain Harris Andrews, who is scheduled to reach the milestone three days before the star Magpie when the Lions travel to face the Demons.

Congratulations to Brayden "Buzz" Maynard on reaching 150 games. He was identified early after his arrival at Collingwood as a quality player and given plenty of games to develop him into the consistently tough and ultra competitive beast that he has become.
After a slow start to this season, Maynard's form has improved over the past month and its no surprise to see the fortunes of the club improve at the same time as his improved form. Having Maynard's strength, competitiveness and experience on the last line of defense provides a lot of stability and confidence in the defensive team at Collingwood.
Until he gets to hold up a premiership cup on the last Saturday in September his most famous moment at Collingwood as the player who was robbed of a deserved free kick for being illegally blocked from competing for a mark in the last minutes of the 2018 Grand Final.

Re: Congrats Brayden Bruz Maynard on 150
i remember when people were criticizing Maynard in the early days (me included). The kid and was a turnover merchant and made a lot of boneheaded plays. I asked Nathan Buckley at an event what he thought of Maynard. He flatly said to me, "he will play 250 games for Collingwood and will be an all time great". He was that sure of his ability.Mr Miyagi wrote:The 25 year old achieves 150 games next round against GWS. Let’s get the party started!

Brayden Maynard Tackle - BMT
If I ever need cheering up now, I simply go to the footage of BMT - Brayden Maynard Tackle.
Seriously one of the most desperate chases and tackles I have seen a player make in the B&W. The commitment to go from half-back and keep running should be replayed to new recruits and before any finals matches (apologies to 9.J.Noble - you too are held in this bracket)
As Naughty by Nature once penned ~
You down with B.M.T.? [Yeah, you know me!]

It’s a ridiculous chase and run down, particularly after the effort applied in the first 100 odd metres. He would have had a right to look up and think “ I’m not going to catch Pickett from here “
Also likely to get Toby Greene in his 151st game.
Possibly the single most important duel that will determine the outcome.
Worthy of a main event on its own.
