More on the geniuses I have to deal with here:
Residents of a village made famous by the Harry Potter films say the area is as busy as summertime despite lockdown.

On Sunday, police were patrolling Lacock in Wiltshire to deter tourists from visiting.

Resident Kelly Orner said one group "openly admitted they'd come from Wales and just wanted to enjoy a day out".
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-w ... e-55718606

There's just a stubborn refusal of people, including anyone with authority, to give a toss.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Incredible. On par with the anti vaccination / the whole coronavirus is a hoax. I do feel blessed in some ways being in Australia compared to almost the rest of the world in our relatively low numbers.

Still you can always ask Dr Trump

Sri Lanka's health minister, who publicly endorsed sorcery and magic potions to stop surging coronavirus infections in the island, has tested positive to COVID-19.

She and her close contacts will self-isolate, officials said on Saturday.

Pavithra Wanniarachchi had publicly consumed and endorsed a magic potion, later revealed to contain honey and nutmeg, manufactured by a sorcerer who claimed it worked as a life-long inoculation against the virus.

She also poured a pot of "blessed" water into a river in November after a self-styled god-man told her that it would end the pandemic.

The island nation of 21 million on Friday approved the emergency use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine only hours after Ms Wanniarachchi tested positive, officials said.

That is actually funny. Has your account been hacked?

Meanwhile up here in NSW the streak of no local cases continues but Dan continues to play with his traffic lights and permits while diverting Police resources to meaningless duties.

Never mind, Dan has proven his point, expect the permit system to be scrapped within 7 days.

The rest of the country has done a lot better than NSW this year. Keep those dirty infested NSW people where they are. The rest of the country has dealt with the Sydney Spread. Now NSW is finally approaching the zero levels we here in Victoria have enjoyed for a good while now

I think we should just position snipers along the south side of the Murray and then we could build a wall.

Quite ridiculous isn't it that police stations are closed so Dan can continue this stupid charade.

Combine that with massive ambulance shortages and a career fire service that cannot respond to bushfires, the emergency services are flying when the unions run the state...

Nah, the right honourable twice elected Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews is doing a great job. In 2021 much better COVID results than NSW. However, I’m not so sure about some of those volunteer firefighters though:

At least in Victoria we don’t have any of that go on.

Luckily for Victorian arsonists, the cops are too busy manning the border to investigate and most fire investigators in the state have been stood down by Dan because they aren't members of the UFU

What’s the key selection criteria to be a volunteer fire fighter? Seems to be a pattern.

1or 2 out of 200,000+ is a pattern?

You’re guaranteed with those sort of numbers to get a couple of oddballs. Just like amongst the few crazy people who vote Greens, there is probably 1 or 2 that aren’t completely insane

A lot of them have already been kicked out before they light the fires but the media love to play up the volunteer firefighter angle, even when it was over 10 years since they’d been one...

If so, that'd be 1 or 2 more than vote for the Liberal Party. ;)
