He played 21 of 22 games this year & isn't cut. You think this 'news' is worth a thread?

Played 21/22 games in 2016. Top 10 in the Copeland. Has rarely missed since his debut. A solid citizen who's never caused us any trouble. Only 26 years old.

What reason was there to think he'd be cut? :? Would have been one of the biggest surprises ever.
Well done boys!

He averaged 16 disposals & kicked 15 goals.

Only impressive stat is an avearge of 5 tackles per game.

Not good enough to be in our best 22, should not get more than a years extension.

I doubt there would be great interest in him if we did decided to move him on.

From what is being said by many in the media the offer was just for an extra year.

Stop sugar coating this it is what it is. He got a contract extension for one reason and one reason only he's Dyso's love child end of story
There's a disturbing trend among contract extensions at the club in recent times.
Moore DTM's love child contract extended
Langdon P4S love child contract extended
And possibly the worst one
Sidebottom P4S love child contract extended

When will the club stop this sort of frivolous behaviour and only extend the contracts of deserving players like Toovey McCaffer Cloke Brown Williams
A joke I tell you a joke

Survives is a funny word, considering we've offered him a contract and he's yet to accept it.

Seems more likely that he will be at another club if you ask me.

The great thing about a hopelessly slow player like Sidey is that he will run at the same speed until he's about 46, so you can expect a few more contract extensions, yet, '67 - he could be the first player to make it to 700 games. 8)

No I think things will catch up with him long before that likely a new coach who he won't have incriminating photos of. 😂😂😂😂
I would be more worried about your boy Tommy he's in a battle with several its for his spot and I doubt your other son is going to share those photos with him to get him a game

Yep, another indication that the club is stuffed.
As for Blair he may become a 150 game player.
If I was Blair or any totally underwhelming list clogger I would
be dancing in the street.
To think that such a dud can make it to this mark is truly amazing.
So well done to the Hobbit.
When you retire or finally get delisted then you can hang your hat up high.
( about 4 feet up )
And marvel that you were at Collingwood and not some other club.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

In your opinion. The facts though are different and there was no reason to suspect he'd be delisted. It would have been bizarre.

We've paid about $2m over 4 years to get his back-up, so why would we let Blair go?
