Is there a more craven group of amoral anti-Christian frauds on the planet?
https://thehill.com/homenews/news/52719 ... dent-bidenRepublicans ready to become deficit hawks again under a President Biden
Republicans are preparing to re-embrace their inner deficit hawk after greenlighting big spending bills under President Trump.
GOP senators say they expect to refocus on curbing the nation’s debt and reforming entitlement programs starting in 2021, as the Congressional Budget Office estimates that the debt has surpassed the size of the American economy.
“I think that’s kind of getting back to our DNA. ...I think spending, entitlement reform, growth and the economy are all things that we’re going to have to be focused on next year and, yeah, I would expect you’ll hear a lot more about that,” said Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), the No. 2 Senate Republican.

Let’s hope the two senators in Georgia get up: Warnock and Orsoff.

At last, some method in the apparent insanity - he isn't trying to overturn the election, he's just running a massive fund-raising program (on - and who would be surprised - an apparently untrue premise):

Looks like Trump is keen to attempt a Grover Cleveland:

Quite so. However, this is old news, and has been obvious for the best part of a month now. See my post three weeks ago in this very thread, which apparently no-one (not even you) read.Pies4shaw wrote:At last, some method in the apparent insanity - he isn't trying to overturn the election, he's just running a massive fund-raising program (on - and who would be surprised - an apparently untrue premise):

Money.
The Trump Campaign spent huge sums on advertising in the last weeks of the election. It was money they didn't have (they blew their whole budget earlier in the year, trying to turn around Trump's surging unpopularity as the the death toll mounted).
Now they can't pay it back. The law suits are going nowhere. They will drag them out as long as they possibly can, desperately maintaining the twin fictions that they have some kind of merit, and that they could overturn such a clear majority.
Why? Because they are tapping into their supporters' pockets, begging for donations "for the legal bills". Buried in the fine print, we discover that they can actually use the money to pay off their election campaign debts.
(Unless I miss my guess, they will also be syphoning off plenty into their expense accounts as long as it lasts. That would be, of course, for useful and necessary items such as houses and Porsches. We know that Trump's first campaign director is up on major fraud charges to do with pocketing public donations, and that Trump's immediately previous campaign director helped himself to no less than $39 million before he was fired. How much are the current ones pocketing?)
