Would love to see McStay there just for the morale boost

Just to temper the above, he might not have the tank and feel yet, folks. Remember, he's also ahead of schedule, so the plan might have consciously been to ease him back.

He will be a very welcome addition to our forward line when he comes back, but he's not the messiah, he's not Garry Alblett Snr, he's not going to win games off his own boot, he's a role player.

McStay the course: Dan's journey through two devastating knee injuries

After injuring his MCL in the 2023 Preliminary Final, Dan McStay fell to a second knee (ACL) injury in the 2024 pre-season. With his 2024 season appearing to be over before it had even started. But not according to a man with more drive than most.
