I've been contracting in a job since early January. They'd advertised it externally and I put in an application. The boss called me today to say he wasn't going to interview me for the job.
He was going to offer it to me
Saw the GM later and he asked me if I liked the interview. When I said it was fairly brief, he said I'd been being interviewed for the last 2 months

Somebody loves me.
Did I mention that in going from contractor to permanent I picked up a 20% pay rise as well as access to paid leave etc?

lol.
I get kisses every day
As for the 5 months thing, I know it might seem weird to make a thing out of relatively minor 'anniversaries' (well, what else do you call them?? haha) but we had a really nice dinner at hog's breath, then went home and watched cartoons before bed. We actually went out for dinner to celebrate 100 days as well... any excuse
