Not terribly surprising. The Age has been slowly but surely migrating into Woman's Day territory for the last few years. It's one of the reasons I barely bother visiting the site these days.

I'm all for people 'sport' shooting and using the meat and hides, like deer hunters in the states or duck shooters here but trophy killing in Africa is a $@&^# up remnant of the British Empire days, and back then at least the hunter had to get close and only got 1 shot at it. Look at the modern scoped rifles this bitch is using.

If she wants to show us what a great hunter she is how about trying to kill a lion with your bare hands bitch.

No skill involved killing a large animal with a powerful rifle fitted with a scope.

Wouldn't surprise me either if she was tucked away in a hide with bait laid to draw the lion into point blank range.

What type of person would want to kill an exotic animal like a lion or bear in the first place?

Buggered if I know but it's clearly someone who has no respect for some of natures most beautiful creatures.

Ever wondered what happens to "petting cubs" when they are no longer small and cute enough to provide humans with a " feel good holiday snap"?

It's called canned hunting - once small and cute and now grown so no longer any use to make dollars this way but familiar with humans - so what the hell they are used to provide the fun that scumbags like this moll get out of killing them - so brave

Absolutely disgusting! It angers me greatly but it seems the problem is mostly occurring in the US as opposed to Australia.

The idea that a family member, friend or someone close to you could be a random victim of this senseless violence makes me sick.
