A man who loved his family above all others,a man who loved his club above all others.
A man who always had time to say hello and have a chin wag.
A man who can now rejoin his son,and hopefully his son was just on the other side to finally say 'thanks dad' in a way he never could before
A part of collingwood and a part of us
Sympathy to his family you are all in our thoughts.

I'm only 18 and never saw him play
But held my head in my hands as I read the news today
I heard of the passing of the great Bobby Rose
A true legend, a name that everybody knows
We'll never forget you, a favourite son
The player, the man, he was second to none
With just words alone it's hard to explain
There'll never be another like Bobby again
One of the greatest to ever play our game
Without him Collingwood will never be the same
And on Saturday we're doing the long slow Bobby Rose chant until everyone's lungs burst. Allright Cheersquad!

A very sad day. Here's cheers to a great Collingwood man who now has the best view at all Collingwood games.
Say hello to my mum in the upper level, she loved you very much.

A man who bled Black & White and the most Humble Champion I have met. Good story on Channel Seven and Tim Watson showed the emotion that Bob could place in those around him.
I was also please Caro mention Vin Waits passing too. He was a champion as well.
May those who made our game rest in peace.
The mention of the Letter Bob wrote to Rhyce Shaw about how proud he was that night Rhyce had BR on his jumper was pure emotion and no wonder Rhyce has fired up.

Very sad news. I heard it on the radio this morning when I woke up and I got goosebumps and I just couldn't believe it.
Bobby, you will forever be remembered as a legend in all facets of life. I'm proud that you represented Collingwood in the way you did. Rest in peace Bob!

Very Sad News
It makes me appreciate how lucky i am and how precious life is. The fact that he kept on going to Collingwood games even when very sick showed the courage of this Collingwood legend.
Hopefully this week there may be a tribute on the big screen to this Collingwood legend and/or a minutes silence so the supporters can pay their respects
Rest In Peace

Robert (Bob) Rose : R.I.P. - Champion on & off the field.
For Bob & the family, it was befitting that he was able to go quickly.
A small gesture by all of us on Saturday, would be to wear a WHITE ROSE.
