Geees we gonna be flat chat fielding a team from Sydney. only 16 on the bus, 2 of those are females who dont wanna play. Im over the hill, cant kick, found that out on Anzac Day at the No Skills session. So I guess I can keep the pine warm, just like my hero.

Unknown to me, Mick is basically getting the team together, I have not heard about us "drafting" anyone from your team...lol ...

Could it be that a particular high profile c/s person (talks a lot and wears a bright colour) whose name seems to be missing from any of your selections messages thus far, is the person in question??

Think we might also have to re-draft an LSD player who was our first treasurer and has now moved back to Melbourne. If you think Rocca is big, wait till you see this dude.

With regards to playing at Victoria Park, I was told today that Bree can't give us permission to use the ground as she has no control over such matters. We have to get it from the Ground Manager (Curator , caretaker whatever). Plus there is the likleyhood that there will be a school game or VFA game scheduled as those games are usually played each Saturday.

if we cant use vic park what about using the lexus bob rose oval (that will get the olympic park commitee angry lol) because that is a public park thats if we cant use vic park if other people agree

i regret to inform everyone that due to technical difficulties this match is going to have to postponed unless someone can find a nice oval to play on that doesn't already have a footy match scheduled on it.

Vic Park - out
Olympic Park - out
The Oval (formely old scotch oval) - out

If an oval can be found please let either myself or Tarrant In The Pocket (Mick) know as soon as posssible. We were trying to get a venue close to Vic Park, but as it is a Saturday most grounds are unavailable or are charging us a fee to use it.

Sorry once again, but for all those going to Sydney, a game will be scheduled up there during the trip if anyone's interested. More details on this will be available in a few weeks time..........so stay tuned
