Mate messaged me today, saying he was the best recruit since Buckley. Big call I know, but he's probably the most important to our team since the Buckley recruit (maybe A.Rocca as well), given we knew we needed a proper ruckman, and we went out and got him, and in his first game, he well and truly delivered.

actually the pie fans behind me kept baggin him all dayskaman wrote:You could hear the sighs of pleasure every time Woody palmed straight down to one of our blokes. His second efforts were terrific too. How he never got a free when he tackled that oversized stick insect in the goal square is beyond me. Pinged. Dropped it cold.
We've picked up a winner in Wood.

I want Fraser to play 2nd fiddle to someone (hopefully Wood). He is more like Adam Goods than a Dean Cox, and can't be tied down to a position like the Ruck.
As soon as Cam's body can take playing 75% in the ruck (and fitness too i suppose) i would give him first crack, and play Fraser as a floating HFF/Wing.

we've finally got a ruckman!!!! After 6 years of Richards, McKee and now Bryan. Hurrah, now we're a genuine shot. Probably the best since Monkey.
Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Agree 100% mate. It was a real pleasure to watch. Still early days but we have got some great days ahead with Woody. Took to the big stage with the greatest of ease.Millane42 wrote:we've finally got a ruckman!!!! After 6 years of Richards, McKee and now Bryan. Hurrah, now we're a genuine shot.
