i mean, dale was saying kill him and all that..

its not out of the realm of possibility that IF he had a kid he would misbehave, take the car out on his own without licence and something like this happens. unilikely perhaps but not impossible. teens do misbehave and act without thinking sometimes, even with great parents (or what they think is great)

my cousin when she was on her L's, snuck the car out and was backing out of the carpark, ran over and murdered a young dad.

it was an incredibly tragic incident, our family recieved death threats for a long time, i can;t seem to remember what sentence she received. if it was anyone else we probably would have wanted her locked away for good but opinions sure change when it happens to you or someone you know

some in this thread, like dale, seem too eager to make the most extreme of judgements to this foreigner... not that what he did isnt incredibly wrong

i dont know

maybe i'm too sympathetic with all people
Your Cousin paid the tragic price for their mistake and our courts handed down their decision. This moron is a foreigner who deserves nothing more than the death penalty. The reason being is he will get a max five years under the current system and head back home and free to do as he pleases.

I don't recall posting any suggestion along those lines.

My references have always been in relation to drunk drivers killing themselves due to their selfish, ignorant and stupid actions.

If these drunks want to keep rolling the dice, then they deserve to pay the ultimate price. That is when I will celebrate 1/. their removal from the gene pool, and 2/. their possible Darwin Award nomination.

The latest disgrace with our court system has his mate out on bail. He will now live with a long lost relative in Adelaide whom he has never met who put up $15000. Wait till he has to appear in Court and he is not here as well. Anyone who trust these people are fools.

'Doubled speed limit' might look bad but when you consider that speed limits on the Monash are often reduced to 40kph for no reason whatsoever it's perfectly reasonable.

thats not murder what a terrible thing to say, its a foolish accident, which i believe is called manslaughter,

but it still deserves punishment, but its not murder,

him and his family should be deproted, why should we pay to keep him in jail, get rid of them and they cant come back

i dont mean to sound racist, but i was following an obvious learner the other day, with no l plates on, gees this woman could not keep in a lane, turn a corner or stop properly, the guy in the passenger seat had a turbin on.

a day later, dropped the kids at school, going to work, get stuck behind an l plater who could not go over 30kph!! the traffic was backed up for miles, more indians, do they have no brains, seriously, you dont take a brand new l plater out in peak hour traffic.

nicole was driving for three months before we let her out in heavy traffic,
you gotta start in an industrial estate on a sunday or something!

maybe it is racist, but gees they are rotten drivers, dont know if they are careless or they dont know the laws, what do they have to do to get an aussie licence??

or does one sit the test for the whole family
