They are pretty big outs & I bloody well hope they are resting & not under an injury cloud.

With all due respect though, good to see Medders back.

Ball is critical for the finals. With his OP issues, best to freshen him up as much as practical.

Jolly is the same, but seems to have no injury issues. But a general freshen up wouldn't hurt him. Alternatively we could play him for 50% game time with Fraser and freshen him by much reduced game time.

Leon has been carrying something all year. This is the 3rd or 4th time that he has come out of the side with an injury. He is being managed, nothing major.

Reid we all know about, so again no big surprise.

Goldy was kicking torps at training on Tuesday, so i don't know how serious that one is.

With Ball's history of injuries, there is no need to take a risk with him. Being rested for sure.

Don't be surprised to see either Jolly, Didak or Swan to miss next week.

I agree,it's great to see him back in the side after all this time.

By the way,did anyone see Essendon's side for tomorrow night?.I reckon we could have rested a lot more players and still beaten their side,it looks very weak on paper.

Not surprised to see Ball out for a "rest", but wasn't expecting Goldy to miss. Hope its not serious.

Wouldn't hurt to give both Ball & Davis a couple off. Especially if Medders goes well.

If Medders plays well enough to hold his place and everyone is fit for selection, its going to be very interesting come September. Someone will be really pissed off.

Maybe Josh will get a run later to rest Dawes or Brown, if they need it.

Huge outs for them. Could get messy tomorrow night.

Yes, good to see medhurst back time to find out if he can hold up, I remember hearing Mick say about players that go back to the vfl if they're there for too long they will acclimatize to that level, makes it harder to get back up to afl standard. Plus I don't buy into this 'resting' of players, because hopefully we win first week and the whole team can have a rest. Go pies!

Well, actually HAL, yes ...

Minus 4 plus 4 = what, do you imagine? e=mc2 perhaps or, b=mf or even SUM ((19)90-(19)58) -(20)10=22, which, of course is the number of players the Pies will win this year's premiership with ... X (X rotations), of course ...

i doubt ball is out due to injury. he was training with the players today and looked fine.

mm is playing games again with the media, he is having a "rest". watch mm next week when he gives jolly a week of what will he come up with then.

Fraser and O'Bree will play next week. We win this one and Minor premiership is secure.
All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.
