Indeed. Great to see a few players getting a chance.

May as well make some good out of the Dawes injury and IMO bringing in Keeffe is the best way possible.

Glad to see they've given Rounds and Fasolo another game.

Make Sidebottom the sub.
Na, Sidey loves playing against the Roos.

Maybe Buckley to be the sub.

Looks like Taz will go forward and Keefe will hold down a defensive position. It worked well in the NAB Cup.

Come on Taz kick a bag! :D

Great to see Keefe in - just don't make him the sub!

Disappointing for Trav that Tarrant is unavailable, he could have caught Buddy :(

I was thinking that actually may be the case. He'll come in in the last quarter and Taz will go forward - but only if we're up. Still not totally sure, fasolo coulb be sub

would rather a midfielder or a quicker player as a sub.
I think keefe might play more of the ruck role brown plays while brown spends more time forward in dawes role.
Would rather leave the backline as is.
One thing though, its exciting with keefe having a run and shows the options we have

If we let our guard down anything can happen. Few if any tipped Essendon to beat Geelong last week - one person had a million dollars at very low odds that the Cats would win.

Logically we ought to smash them. However, if we don't pressure, pressure & pressure they have the chance to beat us with Dawes out. Their little fellas including Harvey, Wells & Swallow are fantastic. Goldstein is a great developing ruckman & they have a good few hard ball / contested ball players who do well one on one. They are a differt team than the one we played earlier this year.

Can't afford to be complacent.

I expect us to win & do well but anything can happen.

The forecast for Sunday is a few showers and windy so this might keep the scores tighter than expected and give north a small sniff.

.....In the first half.

1/2 TIME

Collingwood 5.6.36
Port Melbourne 7.4.46

STATS

Goals
Pies - Bolton, Ugle, Johnson, Reilly, Stubbs
Borough - Galea 3, McMahon 2, Scipione, Skipper

Disposals
17 - Johnson
14 - Macaffer
13 - Bolton, McCarthy, Sundberg, Thomas
11 - McNamara
7 - Young

Marks
7 - McCarthy
6 - Macaffer
4 - Bolton, Condy

Tackles
5 - Thomas, Bolton
3 - Sinclair

Looks like Macaffer is having his best game since his return.

Against the VFL's top side as well.

Johnson continues to push for a senior recall.

Josh Thomas getting plenty of the ball in just his second game back.

Thanks to MagpieBat for the stats.
