Corruption is far and wide in Politics. If we have a NSW type enquiry we are going to have just as many MP's on the cross benches as the NSW Parliament currently has.

I remember this becoming an issue with the Bracks government. Constant consultants, committees, boards of enquiry. Anything but action. No state government since has deviated from it. I really hope Andrews is someone different, but I'm not holding my breath.
Ted Baileau's Liberals quite rightly made a fuss about the enormous amount of money Brumby's mob were spending on private consultants, and promised to cut that out. it turned out to be so much hot air bullshit: under Ted and now Denis, the amount handed out to private consultants by the Liberals has gone up, not down.

I'd like to think that the Andrews Labor government will be different. I'd also like to think that there will be a cure for cancer discovered next week, and that St Vomit will be expelled from the AFL.

And you'd be right!

It's not Oscars law, but it's a step in the right direction.

For anyone not familiar this is what Oscars law is all about:

http://www.oscarslaw.org
Oscar is the most gorgeous looking dog, who was once a puppy farm stud dog.
Oscar was rescued twice, still recovering from surgery he was handed back to the owners that let him get under nourished and in need of urgent vet care.

It was another 18 months before Debra Tantrer was able to rescue him for good. He lived in hell for 5 years. He is now the poster boy for OSCARS LAW. They aim to fight until there are no more puppy farms.

I voted for Ted 'cause I was sick of the bad management and land deal corruption the Labor mob were getting into.

Well, that was nothing by comparison with the massive, utterly shameless rorting going on with this mob.
People laughed at me when I started posting about the state Liberals' corrupt antics (some of it in this thread) and in particular Planning Minister's Guy's disgraceful conduct in office.

Well the truth is out now, and nobody's laughing anymore. In a couple of weeks, we are going to throw this scum out.
This year Guy the Corruption King has been caught eating lobsters with mobsters.

And now we see this: $10,000 from a property developer, paid under the counter against a fake invoice, in exchange for a penthouse meeting with the Slime King. http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/a-10k ... yjwd5.html

Must've missed your post about the latest Labor party corruption.

No surprise that Guy is a grub too, but when you're dealing with an abortion of a government like Andrews and his mob then i'll take the lesser of two weevils.
