Bucks spent a lot of time talking to Clarke at Windy Hill yesterday. This worries me because he isn't up to AFL standard football anymore.

Looks like we've lost another 2 hbf'ers in Faz & Young.

I think Marley has to come in cos we have no other hbf/pockets. I think Adams or more likely Dwyer comes in and Goldsack/Sidebottom goes back.
Dwyer and Sidey can play Young's winger role. Not really an Adams role.

Marty also a chance too can play defensive winger role which suits him.

Adams is possibly the "next cab off the rank" but unfortunately, the positions vacant aren't his role. Blair JT and Ball current have his spot and can't see any of them being dropped.

Would be a decent replacement for Fas. He's been one of our most consistent VFL performers from what I've read. Makes more sense than playing Martin.
Well done boys!

Interesting that on radio 3AW, Lane, on the back of his Blues comeback win last night, and right after Dollar Daisy spoke, he asked any "Blues fans to ring in and say have they changed their minds over the coach, and the future of the team." Not ONE Scum fan bothered to phone in, and give such support, and that tells me a lot, even after last nights lucky win over the Weagles. Bring them on, we have nothing to fear from this mob. !

The trouble with that analysis is, of course, that many of us have the handicap of actually watching the VFL all season and are terrified by how slow Clarke looks at the lower level. It may be that there is no viable alternative (unless Armstrong has compromising pictures of the Coach and the President) but it isn't a prospect we should openly embrace.

Has never had great pace. Not sure that's changed much from when I've seen him at AFL level. But has always had great stamina and decent disposal. Unless he's gone a million miles backwards since he played AFL earlier in the year, I don't see how this could be a terrible selection.
Well done boys!

In Footy There is nothing more entreating than a match with who I consider our arch enemy, Carlscum! My old man along with a few good mates are Scum supporters so it makes the week leading up to the game all the more interesting and if we get the result the week following is just .......... 8)
Not only am I interested in anything coming out of the club but like Piesnchess go churning over anything Carlton with the thought of hoping to see the slightest crack in their amour!! Well we all know that it doesn't matter where we sit on the table a clash with the blooz is what makes our game the best there is! So Bring em on!!

The scum would have gained a bit of confidence last night especially after they looked gone in the last.

We are the better side but we were in 2008 as well and lost to them twice.

Not taking this game lightly.

And we are a better side than last year when we beat them twice...

I would also suggest the pies would have gained more confidence and faith in each other in getting the job done after trailing by 6 goals early to the bummers and getting a little percentage booster!

Glad to hear swoop you are not taking them 'lightly' though - the bloozers are probably really annoyed they didn't sneak under your guard :)
Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!!
