Well, there's the video evidence (without which there would not even be charges), though there was video evidence in the Stokes case too...

Since hidden cameras are illegal, I'm guessing the only reason they can lay charges at all is that it was the victim's daughter who placed the camera, not anyone related to the prosecutors.

What a disorganized rabble they are. Morrison is a joke. First the white power palarver now police on the run with moving the embassy to Jerusalem to get the Jewish vote in Wentworth.

He is clumsy and ham-fisted. The PR man is a perfect fit for Hillsong but a joke of a PM.

The lack of funding for, not only aged care, but also mental health care, can be attributed to the privatization of everything by Labor governments in the 80's.

They sold off everything, privatised everything and now the results are here for all to see. This crap hasn't happened overnight, it's from decades of greedy, self indulgent and gutless governments.

In Victoria it was the Liberals who blamed debt that would have been paid off by now and Jeff kennet now see's borrowing as the best way. NSW just privatised (sold) their electricity, they are Liberals. The Federal Government have a rewards policy for States that sell off private assets. The Federal Government are Liberals. The Liberals are the ones that sell the assets Skids. WA may do things differently.

Rubbish.

The privatization of everything began in the 80's, the period of Labor (Hawke/Keating) domination.
They started the rot. I know, I had just finished my apprenticeship and witnessed the unfolding first hand.

The mob in charge now... and the next lot, will continue to blame each other, but it was the ALP of the 80's that started the spiral.

The States sold off their utilities, nothing to do with the Feds. Hawke and Keating rode to power on the Unions back and then shat on them once they got there.

Yes and no. They had a safety net for many things and the inroduction of supannuation. The safety net was progessrively taken away by the Libs who then made superannuation a tax dodge for the rich (thank you Peter Costello)
