Well, it’s official now: beat Sydney tomorrow or everything will be on the line for both teams when we play Carlton next week.

My Collingwood pessimism, ingrained via years of heartbreak, is bubbling away, but I am keeping a lid on it.

Pleased Carlton dud not win. Cripps should not have been out there. That team always thinks itself above the rules.

I am happy Melbourne and Brisbane next round can cancel each other out more of a chance for Collingwood to make top 4.
