Yes, Im quietly confident, I reckon Fly will have us breathing fire, we will know in first 15 minutes, how badly we want to win this, and totally redeem ourselves. Be on for one and all.
Simple equation Piesnchess, if we turn up to play with the same ferocity as we have displayed most of this season, we will win handsomely. If we play the insipid football from the last two games, we will deserve to lose badly and be a ladder filler in the finals without any realistic hope of winning the flag

No idea why you would bring Frampton in. There is no defensive matchup for him.

Who else would you replace Murphy with?

You don't, we play
IQ (Stengle) Moore (Cameron) Noble (Bowes)
WHE (Miers) Howe (Oliver) Maynard (Rohan)

I would be bringing in as much speed as possible as well.

We still need a seventh defender to rotate, right?

Based on your suggested match-ups above, I'd have Frampton on Henry and maybe move Howe on to Rohan and Maynard on to Miers. Not sure Hoskin-Elliott will be playing back, but if he does I guess he could be the spare.

I agree we do rotate a 7th defender, but Billy on Henry would not be great he's not mobile enough. D Cameron drops back, Crisp will rotate through. WHE and Lippa both play defensive roles. Everyone hates on them but they are crucial role players defensively. Pendles will go back a heap now as well with NDaicos out.

Also we defend mostly from the middle of the ground. That's why we often give away easy over the top goals if they players aren't 100% switched on and working hard.

Got it from Flys mouth on SEN so this is the source that Murphy is a chance friday night.

Spoke to Murphy this arvo and told Fly his dr said he was good to go to get back to training weather that contact or not is another thing.

Still got some boxes to tick at training tomorrow at AIA.

Fly was wrapped but said its only Tuesday and see how he goes at training.

Call me crazy, I actually think apart from the forced changes, any other changes are really of no consequence.

The whole team has to find form, a few changes here or there will make zero difference if the side can't learn how to win it back out of the middle or kick goals.

I know Ruscoe's dispoal has been questioned, but wouldn't he be a better fit. Has more dash and is the same size as Murphy. Might prove a better match-up for Rohan. I'd stick Bruzzy on Henry. If so the Cats would want to be wearing the dark shorts.

Love it a coach like Fly is thinking and more importantly like us supporters and what we feel.

EG: He said on SEN that Nick should have at least got a 50m and the Hawks player should have been suspended.

I didn’t hear it but do you think that he would get a “please explain” letter from the Godfathers at the AFL who don’t deal well with umpire criticism.
