SEN | HAPPENING TODAY: Gold Coast CEO Travis Auld has dismissed speculation his club could be interested in luring embattled forward Brendan Fevola, after Carlton indicated it's plans to trade him in next week's exchange period.
Already several clubs have ruled out signing the spearhead, with Sydney, Collingwood, and St Kilda unwilling to take the risk.

Didn't know we'd ruled him out...

^ And from all reports Fev is a genuinly good bloke. Hass a problem on the piss, but there wouldn't be many of us here who could say we havn't done things we regret whilst under the influence. We just arn't in the spotlight of the public so we have gotten away with it

I am having nice dreams about a forward line consisting of the Fev, the Jack attack, Dawes, with Cloke up on the wing, and little crummers like meds, thomas, leon, dick buzzing around the Fev in the goalsquare running riot against the scum. Nice dream that one.

At Collingwood, a club said to be of interest to Fevola, there is understood to be strong resistance within the football department to the idea of recruiting Fev, who nonetheless shares a friendship with Collingwood president Eddie McGuire.

If we miss out because of the precious "Top Bloke" recruitment policy I'll spew.

Don't listen to much from SEN. Make half their stories up, actually probably more than half.

Biggest knob in the competition. Drink problems, gambling issues, plays up on his girl, assaults people, walks around in public with a dildo in his hand and he has children?? -- That's not a good bloke, Gobbles, that's an arse-wipe of a human being. "from all reports". Who?? Other dickheads?

^SEN are having a bet each way, they say on their news sports flash we arent interested, but their sports announcers keep prattling on about how much he would suit the pies, a perfect fit according to bartlett.
Their guy this afternoon still says the Pies are very interested.

He is exactly what we need.
It will take pressure of jake as he would now be the 3rd tall
Cloke could play solely as a half foward leading up the ground with fev in the 50
It would be perfect
You mean Pressure on this Jake???

Grow some balls. This is football and footballers are not friggin angels.
Sometimes they are shits but you have to compromise.
He kicks bags of goals. BAGS of them. We get him, he stuffs up, fire him. Simple.
To be honest though I just don't like his hair style, it's just too crazy and I don't think it supports our chances for a premiership.
P.S I don't think Footballers should tackle each other anymore either, it's just not nice.
Classic post of the day.
I say have a shot at him - there are not a million reason why we shouldn't maybe one or two. But those things can be managed I believe.
Spot on.
Never ever let a chance go by that could lead to glory...................!!

I'd love us to get Fev, but I seem to recall the last time Carlton shopped him around, Bucks suggesting he wouldn't be in his side if it was up to him. The one thing going for us is that apparently Eddie quite likes Fev. I guess we'll all know soon enough.
