IMO if Cloke chooses to leave to get better money in Freo, then off he goes. He simply is not worth the money or the risk of a $5m over 5 year contract. (he's dreaming) If Freo are prepared to pay above the odds for him - their loss.
ours too. Just not sure we look like a premiership team at the moment without an in form cloke and not sure anyone else can credibly take the place of an in form cloke. Could be wrong on that, but that is my gut feeling.

We have enough fire power to cover life without Cloke. We better start getting used to it as he plays like a guy who has left already. I look at Gary Ablett jnr, he played every game with the same intensity up till they day he departed the Cats. Cloke is not doing that, maybe he may turn it on Saturday? I doubt it and if he does I will applaud him.
When you have such a quality midfield and the ball is coming into your forward line many times you can kick goals with the quality players we have.
When Cloke departs the money freed up you can target a replacement that is good enough to fill the void, we do not revolve around one player.
Serious 1 million a year for a guy that struggles to kick goals on a regular basis? Yes he won us the game off his own boot against West Coast, that's it and it's one game in how many?
If he is not with us it's VFL time for the remainder of the season. I ask how can you go into a Final series with a guy who is not committed to the
cause?

Apparently we should ban anyone on Nicks from reporting back anything they hear or see for fear of derision or the rumor may not be true, heaven forbid, we can't have that.
