Except the linked article doesn't mention the claim at all despite the headline 'Gaza’s new terror: Booby-trapped cans of food for the unwary'.

While not confirmed yet by another source, the UN has kept this posted despite the so called "fact-checkers"
And here the UN reported that the Government Media Office reported a child was injured by booby trapped food tins. So you legitimately question propaganda masquerading as straight news coverage and then do the same thing yourself.

This is the caveat in the UN link:
Specialized UN agencies have consistently noted that explosive remnants of war and unexploded ordnance continue to pose significant risks of injury or death to displaced people and those who wish to return to their homes. Booby traps are not a threat UN specialized agencies have documented in Gaza.
So essentially this is a claim the Hamas government have made, and that hasn’t been otherwise verified. Doesn’t mean it’s confirmed to be false, but obviously needs a question mark at the very least until confirmed by a reliable observer.

I think the UN needs to ask Craig McRae to sort this out. He fixed Collingwood in under 2 years. Compared to that, the Middle East would be a cinch.

In France in 1968, it was the students that ignited a General Strike which, had there been a genuine socialist party leading the working class at the time, would have led to the seizure of power by the working class. We are witnessing today the same trajectory of events.

The same "left-wing indoctrination centres" over in America that happen to be sending in militarised police to fire rubber bullets at their students, on the grounds that their left-wing protest activities are disturbing the left-wing indoctrination classes. Might have to look outside the right-wing cliche box for an explanation for that paradox, I reckon!

^ These universities have real departments like Computer Science, Economics, Law and Medicone. And then they have the Institute for the Study of Sexuality and Gender indoctrination centre.

Guess which department these cosplay terrorists are enrolled in?

And if you want a good laugh, just go read the list of demands from these "students"

Serious question, though: do you really think camping on a lawn and holding signs counts as terrorism?

Yawn.

Bunch of Uni Humanities students protest something and no one else cares.

That's been happening since Humanities was a category and earlier. I'm sure it's part of the curriculum, attend at least one meaningless protest per term for an extra 10 points.

^ For those outwardly supporting Hamas, shouting anti-semitic anti Zionist slogans and abusing Jewish students......that's inciting hatred to further a cause - which is pretty much the definition of terrorism without strapping on and detonating explosives.

Don't underestimate the stupidity of today's university students when you can spend $100,000 per year studying a course in Taylor Swift.

last Wednesday at midnight, Zionist thugs attacked the encampment of anti-genocide pro Palestinian protesters on Monash University campus. They smashed tents, tipped out food and blasted the sleeping students wiht super loud music. Protestors called the police who arrived, and stood back, allowiing the Zionists to continue terrorising the students. The police eventually intervented, not to arrest any of the thugs, but instead allowed them to depart without any arrests or even taking any names. The only names the police took were those of the student protestors.
While not yet as extreme as the events in the US, where police openly allowed Zionist thugs and fascists to wield metal bars, spray chemicals on protestors and ignite fireworks into their midst, the tendency of events is exactly the same.
Opposition to genocide from students is being slandered as anti-Semitic/pro-terrorist, not just by right wing extremists, but by the official capitalist parties themselves. Countless Jewish people in the US have been arrested as part of the police state measures against the student protests because they have joined the protests in opposition to the genocidal policiies of the Zionist state - indicating the totally bogus, lying nature of these accusations of anti-Semitism, pro-terrorism.

^Confirming exactly what I said: the tendency of events here in Australia is exactly the same as in the US. soon the university administrations will be themselves calling in the police to fire rubber bullets and stun guns at students here, just as at UCLA.
