LeeLee, im afraid your incorrect there. Brocky got .05 when the .05 came in.

"Obviously, his adoption of the number 05 was to highlight the Victorian Governments 05 blood alcohol limit to the public So from 1975, Brock maintained 05 as his car number even when as Australian Touring Car Champion, he was entitled to use the number one."

My family and I have known Peter and his ex wife for many years, and like everyone else, I am absolutely devastated by the loss. My dad worked with Peter on fibreglassing body repairs many years ago, and Peter taught me how to rally drive, which is how I got into the sport. He then convinced me to take up Motoracing, in which I am now training for.

What saddens me, is that there are arrogant pigs taking advantage of this on eBay and are cashing in on all of their signed and forged merchandise. I hope these people are caught and are penalised.

God Bless you Peter. I'm gonna miss ripping you off about driving a 2door Bogandore look alike :( You were and still are an absolute legend in this day and age, and will go down in history as one of the greatest.

For those in NSW, a group of us are organising statewide and national car cruises for our own memorial of Peter. If you live in Sydney, be sure to keep an ear out for local announcements on the radio and internet. This isn't just for Commodore drivers, it's for everyone, you don't need to be a car enthusiast to join.
