I too remember the day well. Had just worked night shift and heard it on the radio when I got home. Can remember just sitting there absoloutely shattered.

On that day, 14 years ago, I was sitting in my cab on the cab rank in Palmerston (NT). Fortunately, there was nobody around as they would have seen me shed a tear.
Rather than R.I.P., shouldn't it be Lest We Forget?
