In terms of tonights game...who would we prefer to win...Doggies or hawthorn??

If Doggies lose, helps our top 4 hopes. But I'd prefer to play the Dogs in a final than Hawthorn

I'll be hoping Dogs smack em and I think they will.

All teams Hawks have played and won against have been average or less than average. Blues and Swans their two best wins.

It was only brillance from Buddy that got them over Bombers last week. Bombers had emon toast in the last Q.

I don't want to see Hawks as another contender either. Best to have them miss finals.

Although you are correct. Best for Pies that Hawks win. It would put Dogs effectively 3 games behind us.

I guess we win either way.

As I prepare to take off for the weekend can I just say please, please pretty please Pies....can we just have a regulation win... up by 4-5 goals at quarter time and just build on it by a few each quarter. No heart attacks this time and a great game from every one of the 22.

I'm not asking for too much am I? ;)

Go Pies

I hope JA starts back and Leroy assumes his 2nd ruck/forward role, but anything could happen. If N. Brown is out for a while, we actually need JA to play as Presti's understudy. We can then release Harry and/or Maxy into more attacking roles. We can take such liberties as long as we don't get hammered at the stoppages, and fortunately we are looking good around the ball at the moment.

This week seems awfully quiet, even less quiet than our bye week.

Is no news good news?

PS, every week makes the Brisbane loss even more unbearable.

Mr Perfect has coached them to 9 losses from the last 10 games. In his own words, "you little beauty".

Completely agree with that - Dogs we handle better (not perfectly, but better) than those Hawkers. Keep them out of top 4 please!
I believe:
My mighty Pies will win more than they lose,,
That supporters should do just that ... support,,
My stomach is infact a Pie warmer: just got to work out how to get them back out!

Could we see both Blair and Rounds debut?

Hopefully before the year is out all of Blair,Rounds,Buckley and J.Thomas will be seen at AFL level for at least 1 game.

Jarrad Blight is the other who has a skill set that could be of use if he can string a month of good footy together in the VFL.

I need 200 more hits to the page and I'll get some small pay. It's not much, but would atleast pay for food and drinks at the footy this weekend!
304 views mate going well. Was a great read as usual :)
Nice work, Dave.

Can we win and have the 3 players poll for the Brownlow? Over the years, I am surprised at how times I have seen Collingwood win the game, sometimes by a good margin, and yet not get the three best a field in the Brownlow.

Got your 500 Dave. Currently at 505.

Should be a comfortable win this week, don't think the Eagles have anything that could worry us.
Well done boys!
