I so read the first word incorrectly, but yeah I'm sure he suprised a few, including RosstheToss.

........For being a SPECTATOR ON THE MCG!!!!!
Our disposal under pressure was soooooooooooo much better than theirs. Exactly what Pendlebury spoke of at a mid-week press conference as a focus they have had all week. Clean disposal. Not perfect, but much better than the Aints!
We must continue to improve and evolve. No resting on laurels. That way we can keep surprising our opposition week after week.
Go Mighty Woodsmen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too kind, 3 worst umps in the AFL. Sounds like sour grapes, but the truth is my defence.
Dawes mauled all day by dawson, was never going to beat him otherwise, did he get a single free? not sure, but should have got plenty.
Brilliant pressure all day, they couldn't handle it, fumbling, bad decisions, they were off because of it, don't give that mob any credit.
I gave up trying to yell at the umpires by name so I just called them all "Ray"...it just about summed up all of their days...they played like a pack of Rays!
Today was extremely important for the finals.....to gain confidence and to take the monkey off the back,,,we can beat the saints! Even Pendles said they realise they have a team that can beat them.
We are great when our teamwork is on, our pressure is on, and our structures are on. We played 4 quarters for the first time this year.
This was a game to build foundations on.
And if Swan is not a better all round player than Judd or Ablett I will go he! I had this discussion on radio the other night. Sure, he is not as polished as them but his team work, work ethic, gut running, linkage play, and courage is second to none at the moment. He has gone past them .....at the moment. Just watch Ablett last night...he spat the dummy,....Swan is not one to do it he just plows on.
Great to see Caff an Brown have great games today. This is where our depth is coming second to none at the moment.
And for MM...you kick Rossy babys butt today.. You outplayed their game plan and threw it in the bin. You outplayed their zone, killed their midfield and shaws moved up from was brilliant. I knew we were going to win when they couldnt get the switch of play happening...you outzoned the zone!
oh and forgot to mention wellers last qtr was sensational. That contested mark on gilbert was unreal. Now about his goal kicking ... Ahem nah better not mention it on such a great day

He was never a FF and is in reality a very good utility player with heaps of skill that is coming to the suface due to his pure hard yacka and the selectors giving the guy a chance and of coarse MM for playing him in the role he now plays
Some of his handballs have been eyepopping and not to mention his kicks for goal.
His left footer when he shook rattled and rolled onto his left foot and slammed home from 50m was for me goal of the day
Go Leroy
Has been kicking really well recently. Looks a much better player when he's kicking 3 goals instead of 0.3.
I've been of the opinion all along that Fraser would make his way back into our best 22. Too good to leave out; possibly the most skilled 200cm+ player in the comp. However, with Leroy's good form, and Dawes's solid efforts at full forward, it's looking less and less likely.
The thing that clinches it for Leroy at the moment is his competitiveness and aggression. Really important in big games, and something that is lacking in Fraser's game. He'll definitely play again, but not certain he'll be there come finals.
The problem with Josh recently has been his form, obviously, but also his lack of running and the thing that made me angry was when he was in the goalsquare (I think it was during the Brisbane game but not entirely sure) and didn't run to back up Harry. The ball got turned over and Josh just stood there. He was the only one there and did nothing. For pure grunt, effort and versatility, I'd go Leroy all the way. Sorry, Josh!
Very happy with the form of the youngsters in todays game.
Cloke out, Dids quiet, even Steele and Beamsy not up to usual outputs.
A lot of expectation on the youngsters in arguably a finals atmosphere.
Well done one and all.

we must get josh to his 200th though, i'll be mighty pissed off if we dont, i think he'll be delisted/retire at the end of the season, next week should be a lock, id hate to see him injured during a VFL game and miss out on getting there.
this is coming from one of his biggest critics, let josh play next week!!
