I can't even be bothered ranting, and sorry I consigned myself to a 12 month contract with Foxtel to watch shit like this unfold before my very eyes.

Nice work on the WHE bet though; well punted sir!
Thank you - ''twas my only bet for the weekend too! And yes I too have not the energy to rant.
No Pressure, No Diamonds

They used to be a happy team at hawthorn.

RudeBoy wrote:The way they smashed us at centre clearances was disgraceful, considering Grundy was dominating the hitouts. As good as Pendles, Treloar, Adams and Sidey are, they collectively failed at their most important task. I honestly don't understand why we are so poor in this crucial part of the game.

As for our forward line, it's almost non existent. And don't get me started on our kicking inaccuracy.

I've been a Buckley supporter through and through but unless he can get this team to make an almighty turn around in form and start winning games, then it's inevitable he will lose his job. Who we'd get as his replacement is anybody's guess, and whether they'd do any better I wouldn't know. Right now I'm feeling gutted.
As good as Pendlebury is and Swan was they just don't have that same amount of c*** in them like the hawks did with Mitchell, Lewis and Hodge.

I'd back them to beat our boys most times because they were prepared to get down and dirty when it was really required in big games.

Not Blair's fault we lost tonight; but I'm not going to another game until Blair is dropped; and/or Buckley articulates his game plan...

Blair had 1 kick for the game

Forward line is shite, apart from Elliott whos coming of major injury, have we got anyone to come in who's going to make us better.

After a loss like that, our list apart from the obvious guns looks very average.

You are right about wanting a game plan. There is no discernible system or theme as to how we play. It is just random chaos, where we are good at winning contested possession, but equally good at turning it over. We have brilliant individuals who shine in a team without coherent direction and structure. The appearance of chaos is to some extent the product of our appalling inaccuarcy in field kicking, but it seems to me that it is also due to the fact that our players are not clear on what we are striving to achieve. I cannot believe that we are still playing in this unco-ordinated, directionless way. I cannot believe that there is so little improvement in skill level. I am utterly devastated.

That was awful.
Really horrible to watch.
Apart from a select few, they looked disinterested. No mongrel. Even when a goal was kicked they didn't seem pumped up.

Anyhoo Sydney next week.
Oh dear.

This is such a horrible time to be a pies supporter seriously
After last week I honestly thought we had a chance tonight and thought get a couple more troops on the field and we might threaten the 8 in coming weeks
I don't think I have ever witnessed a team who can consistently butcher w ball like this team
It's not just one or two players it the majority of them
Treloar gets it 35 times and goes at under 60%
Faz had a 0% efficiency tonight missed every shoot on goal and missed all field kicks seriously
Sidey has 8 kicks and misses 5 of them but he did have 1 tackle 1 inside 50 & missed a goal from 20m
Crisp Maynard shouldn't be allowed to play AFL again until they can kick 20m and hit a team mate
The list just goes on and on every week
I've never felt so empty about this club
It won't happen but it should the coach should come out at his presser and say point blank these players just plain sucked tonight and 5 or 6 won't be playing next week under any circumstances.
Surely we have to make changes we can't keep playing the same players making the same mistakes week in week out
In the fourth quarter after giving up a 3 goal 3rd term lead I sat silently to fed up to even be angry any longer

It was quite obvious how this year was going to pan out.
Everyone was talking down our backline.

Our real Achilles heel is the forward line, or lack of one.

There are people at the club on very good coin doing a very very poor job.
A football dept clean out is required.
Keep Geoff Walsh and the rest can re-apply for their positions.
Coach = Fail
Assistants = apart from sando, all others can go.
Sport science =Fail
Development = massive fail
Recruiting = 50/50 at best
CEO = Should be the first to go. Plain and boring club. To much lip service

Sadly, Eddie has nearly brought the club full circle from 1998 (except the finances)

Things need to change and not just at the end of the year.

What has happened and is continuing to happen is a disaster that needs to be stopped.

Let's take a leaf from the bulldogs and crows. They quickly realised the mistake they made and rectified it asap. They're both doing very well since.

I didn't bother to watch, but aside from getting nutted at the clearances, was there anything in Bucks's press conference that offered an explanation for this evenings abomination ?

We have 2 of the 4 lowest scores so far this season.

Mull over that for a while.

Those who know my posts over the past 10-15 years will know I have demanded front and centre players every other week. The same issue continues to rear its ugly head.

Didak wasn't a front sn centre player, he was a lead up player. Leon wasn't front and centre, he liked to jump from behind packs. Elliott isn't front and centre...he leads and leaps. Medhurst was the same. Brad Dick and Andrew Krakeuer were our only two classic front and centre players in the past decade. Blair leads. Fasolo leads. WHERE THE HELL ARE OURCFRONT & CENTRE PLAYERS???

Hine? What the hell has he done? I questioned him about Josh Green, a free, cheap genuine crumbed. Nope. We have no crumbrrs around the ground. No crumbersxat any contest around the ground.

WHO THE HELL ALLOWED THIS LIST TO BE BUILT LIKE THIS???
