I would hope that in a GF his good patches were for longer and used when the experience counts
In 2010 we won a flag with the experience on Lockyer and O'Bree in the grandstands.

Also good to see players like Coxy, Checkers, WHE, Noble and Tay get a confidence boost ahead of finals. Their form will have a big say in our fortunes.

Sidey will play out of his skin in the finals and his experience will be invaluable. Pretty clear he’s been holding back a bit to not stuff the knee up, and he didn’t really need to play at all against Essendon.

Not great. From what I read his disposal efficiency was running at 57%. Though I suppose compared to his normal output that could be stellar.

This finals series is going to be an acid test for Sidebottom, Pendlebury, and possibly Adams. How they perform may determine whether they are able to go on in 2024.

I actually rated Adams as one of our best, particularly in the first quarter when the game was there to be won.

But: in Moore, Murphy, McCreery
Out: McRae, Cameron, frampton
Totally agree with all your INNS, Frampton OUT, for sure and I'm very concerned about the half hearted efforts of Lipinski and I reckon he is in danger of getting the chop. I think Fin may have done enough to keep his spot even as the sub The rest is going to be the nightmare the selectors are happy to have. Not forgetting Nick is still to come in.Looking good at the right time.

I do realise Tay has some disposal issues at times, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand how Collingwood supporters want to see him dropped?? He is just a bull and he's usually found to be the last man up when there is a pack. He's a leader on the field he he is a must.

My back 6 for week 1 in the qf is the follows i like it:

FB: Quaynor Moore Howe
CB: Maynard Murphy Crisp

Nice spine of Moore and Murphy as the pillars.

Got nice run and cut out from Quaynor and Howe to straighten things up.

Hard bull in Maynard there.

Run and gun type mid in Crisp there as well to break the lines and set it up for the other mids.

Still love Nick daicos there at half back as well. Or Pendles.

Other then this not too sure who to add.

To me this is the best back 6 we have.

I think it's his lack of composure in big moments and skill errors. Agree with above however the othe side of the coin ain't great, hence the supporters who question if he can hold his place after this season.

VFL Pies defeated Tigers by 75 points.
Great 2nd half.

Unfortunately, injuries to Carmichael and McInnes

With all due respect to those two. They were only ever C+/B players whereas Sidey has been an A for most of his career. His dualsidedness and fast decision making will be valuable going forward.
Get back on top.
