Draft Horne, match bid on Daicos (after pick 1 = a better second pick). Use second pick to get best tall FF available (Won't be Amiss, but could be one of the other tall WA lads). Match bid on Dib if one comes.

The hypotheticals dont get bigger then that. (It'll never happen).
Great hypothetical but north wouldn’t pay top knots wage plus they know he ain’t worth number one pick.
Sorry to everyone but snag isn’t going anywhere.
I assume all the talk on trading future 1st round picks is not for this year but for next year when we chase King for 2 1st rounders, yes?

Mods - we merging this one, or keeping it split from other trade/drafting thread?

There's no proposal for a ceiling there, and you also cut off most of my 2nd comment. This horse is deceased, give up

Semantics as to whether paid too much constitutes a ceiling or not. You're the only person I have ever seen claim that he's earning too much money because he's a Cat B rookie. Paint it any way you like, they were your words, that is just a crock of shit. I'll leave it there.

Yes, you insisting that I said there should be a ceiling on Cat B rookie pay is indeed semantics.

"Paid too much" means he is paid more than he's worth - the proof of that will be when no other club offers him a similar salary

You have not seen me claim that either

Sliding doors, came within a poofteenth (a cheating WA umpire) of Stephenson, Treloar, Phillips, Cox, Mayne, Greenwood and Sier being revered Premiership players

Bit relieved we didn’t give up anything for Stephen’s.
Sier just didn’t have a weapon damaging enough when he had the footy in his hands. Best outcome hopefully someone somewhere is interested in him and we can get a 3rd rd pick worth of points.

Sier, another pointless early selection by Hine. Would have been available at 100 that year. Hine: “We expected him to go too 10…”
