Coach Buckley will have the final say in this. After yesterday's post match press conference I really hope his actions speak louder than his words.

There has been no intensity to his game since West Coast. He showed the club then what he can do and wants more money. they had a meeting he did not get the dollars and bang he is out.

Send him to the Reserves as it's affecting the other players, we can cover him but you have to get it working now. You can see it as his team mates don't speak to him or embrace him anymore so they know what's going on. Hopefully he spits the dummy and does not turn up to play.

+1 and agree, send him to the reserves. He will be useless in finals anyway. Give Tarrant a few weeks to get used to being the sole target.

Cloke is a disgrace. Can't wait to learn which moron club will damage their own playing list to fit him in.
If this is true don't even worry about the reserves. Sack him immediately. He'd only poison the minds of the kids in the magoos anyway if he's going.

This problem is really easy to solve for the AFL. Simply rule that no contract negotiations are to be carried out during the playing season with massive fines and stripping of points if clubs do not comply.

Better yet, get rid of the salary cap and make everyone a free agent.
Yeah the expert on poison speaks...

Free agency for all? Lets have Beams asking $750.000 per year or else eh brain cell?

If this is true, then the club needs to come out and make it public so all parties can move on, and us supporters coming to terms with all this bullshit.
If we don't win the flag this year, we'll look back at 2011 and 2012 as the years the club lost it's way by letting two selfish pr#@ks in Malthouse and Cloke think they were bigger than the club.
This needs to be dealt now before it affects the whole team, if it hasn't already.

That is the funniest post by a rabid Left-winger I've read since (Liberal -in-disguise) Paul Keating led the Labor party.

Do you think the average worker can bargain for an additional $100,000 a year when his performance indicators are way down? Oh that's right, Politicians can and do. They just voted themselves a $44,000 a year pay rise and then got an additional $5,000 for an indexed salary increase of 3%.

You know what. If that's what the Left stands for these days then that's exactly why our society is so stuffed!
Idiot. All I'm doing is pointing out that at its core its an industrial issue and as such deserves to be conducted professionally.

Obviously that's beyond your limited intellect to understand.

And of course the more we wreck ourselves the more you love it.
 Spoken like yet another Labor supporter living off the public purse. Public servants (including academics) and Centrelink recipients seem to be their only supporter base these days.
TO be fair jack, I sure as hell didnt see Abbott or the Lib nats vote against that pollies pay rise either, or the Greens either. ! They are all tarred with the same brush, I have been virtually disenfranchised lately, I dont trust anyone of em. !!  :?

Hopefully if he has a break he will put on a DVD of Drew Petrie and take some notes on how a big forward should play/kick.

Any chance we can get rid of this muppet and bring Petrie in? Now HE is a footballer.

I would give my left one to have Petrie, how good would he be in a good side.

Any chance we could avoid calling players who have played 150 games for Collingwood "muppet"?

Petrie has played 214 games. He has kicked an average of 1.1 goals a game over that career. He is having an unusually good year (for him) this year, as a consequence of which he has about as many goals as Cloke, despite having already played in 3 games against GCS and GWS (although I accept that he is doing alright against the children from Richmond today). He will turn 30 soon. Against the better teams this year, he's done no better than 2 goals in a game. Against the Eagles he kicked no goals and 1 goal. Why would you want to recruit that?

Be careful not to let your hatred run away with you. After Cloke's 5 goals in the Wiggles game, there wouldn't have been a Collingwood supporter in Australia who wanted this deal.

What ever good work he may have done over those 150 game has been thrown away over the last month. Muppet seems pretty appropriate. Even if he does sign now, he will still be a muppet. Muppet is pretty tame when compared to what he was being called on Saturday afternoon.

Yep... Some very choice words directed at him from the legends members on level 2 of the ponny on sat...

I've said it 50 times already... Bucks was right, his brand is shot... Each day, more and more Collingwood football club members and supporters are turning on him.

And.... Rightly so. Club first. Players are replaceable... The club is not.
