I still haven't had Covid (as far as I know) and I drink and smoke. I am vaccinated up the wazoo though.

Had it twice, fully vaccinated and shrugged it off like a light cold both times.

And just like that! Ugh

Junior has been sick as a dog, tested negative, I woke up yesterday feeling like death, went to the doctor, got antibiotics, back in bed by 8.15am, slept all day, pretty much slept 36 hours straight, my back is killing me. My eldest just rang, she has covid! We watched walking dead together on Tuesday night. Soi took a test, and then another, lit up like a damn Christmas tree!

Still a Novid and it's good to see with the latest outbreak that the Cookers have a purpose again. Have had a few co-workers out this week and the work message is simple, any symptom stay home. Gone are the days you roll into work no matter how bad you are.

I had a boss when I was younger. "If you are well enough to go to the Doctors, you are well enough to work".

Hope you shake it off soon. Panadol, water and rest. Maybe a few Jim Beams.

Alcohol kills Covid, it's the primary ingredient in hand sanitiser.

So scarf a few glasses of neat Jimmy, you can't feel any worse, can you?

I've got some bottles of 90% alcohol Absinthe. If I ever catch it, I'll be taking a slug of that and blowing it out my nose.

Hubby cooked one of those boxed slow cook beef things with roast veg, went down ok - if I thought I’d make it downstairs again I’d go get the bourbon! Although I not sure my gut would handle it! Just watched the Luna park fire on Netflix, omg corruption! Horrible. Nap time!
