Yes, you would have to be an idiot not to see that a Biden-Harris administration will be a right-wing and conservative one, somewhere around about where the moderate wing (such as it as remains) of the Liberal Party sits, of the right wing of the Labor Party. Not what any of us would call a wonderful administration.

But that is not the point. You would have to be downright brain dead not to appreciate the hard, cold fact that the choice here - the ONLY choice - is between the not-so-goodness of Biden-Harris and the insanity, gross corruption, and mindless destruction which is Trump.

You are faced with a choice between catching a common cold and being infected with Ebola, and you are hyperventilating about the evils of the common cold?

Good grief.

For the first time in my life - and I really mean that - I'm starting to appreciate what hard-right people mean when they say that "the left is really stupid". Anyone too stupid to recognise the overwhelming disaster that is the Trump administration is no smarter than a Trump voter.
Yawn.

Well put, again, David.

for Tannin: Nope.

Call people dumb, stupid, idiotic, etc, and it still doesn't change my thinking, except to think you're a tool.

It took me a while but now I understand why so many people are voting against their traditional views. You people have phucked the left by supporting politicians that have taken it to where it is today.

The hysteria around Trump has reached a level where his detractors have lost all perspective and think anyone looks good compared to him even Bush, hence the gushing about Bush sitting next to Michelle Obama at state funerals and the like.

The tactics and strategy over the election should be interesting.

Biden should be going small target, making it all about Trump and reinforcing he isn't Trump. (hopefully he remembers he isn't Trump)

If Biden gives Trump an opening, Trump will go through him like Covid 19 through a Victorian nursing home. In a battle of wits Biden is unarmed.

How Harris is used will be very interesting. Will she be the defacto campaign lead putting her head to head against Trump with Biden snoozing on the chaise lounge ooy back or will she adopt the policy of staying in Bidens shadow, reach out and strike hard when opportunity presents and then withdraw ASAP which is the option I'd choose.

If the Democrats get ahead of themselves, the meltdown when Trump wins a second term will be truly epic. They need to focus. As soon as they think they've got it in the bag is the moment they'll lose it.

I still think Trump is going to win in the end, though by how much is anyone's guess.

Harris ain't all that. Tulsi Gabbard kicked her ass in the debates and Harris didn't even win a delegate.

I have this funny feeling that “the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t “ kinda thinking will prevail at the election. The vast advantages of having more resources available to them merely due to being the party in power will tip the scales towards a very close Republican win. Just a hunch without a scientific or logical reason for my thinking except that just like having unrealistic expectations with Collingwood winning consecutive flags, I go against my natural left leaning tendencies to back the Republicans winning a consecutive election win. Maybe like my experience with the ‘pies, I’ll be wrong again
