i'd rather discuss the line "if cloke had've kicked straight i'd have given him 3 votes". and yet he can't even score 1 vote from some posters.

cloke presented and was hugely influential when the game was there to be won.

I'm cutting the boys some slack & I'm guessing in the last quarter we just took the foot off in preparation for next week.

We need to be switched on 110% come Saturday night.

Played an excellent game, even with the poor kicking. The gap between he and L.Brown and Dawes is still very large. His contested marking is miles ahead of both.
Well done boys!

Great win, great fun! Dont worry about letting them kick a few cheapies at the end, 48 points over Carlton is a beautiful thing. (im pretty sure I tipped 48 points too - but cant find the post to prove it!)
The only negative was the Collingwood supporter who was calling Eddie Betts a monkey - whoever you are - F*@K OFF - you're a racist dickhead. What would you say if someone yelled that out to Leon??

Totally agree with Beamsy17 regarding Luke Ball as BOG. He was the one who got the hard balls and set the plays up. Still love Cloke's efforts, contests everything. I know Toovey's name gets thrown up a lot here and I have read many comments for and against his inclusion but yesterday he didn't look as quick as previous games and he seemed to be caught a lot. Just my observations! Cheers guys, hoping to post more on here, Go Pies!

Had we kicked straighter in the first three qtrs we would have won by fourteen goals plus. Let em off the hook a bit, but it was a damn fine win for sure.

It was a great win and now 13 - 9 under MM against the Scum.

Agree we took the foot off in the last. Bear in mind we were one down with Wellingham off in the second half. Also, the Cats did the same against the Swans, no doubt they too turned their minds to more important matters in the last quarter.

If we make the Grand Final it wont be against Carlton.

If Cloke continues to miss goals he should kick he'll cost us a flag.

Bet on it!

That's the cold hard truth!

You just have to look at Mooney in the 08 GF or B.Hall in the 06 GF to show you it will cost you a flag!

And more gold from talking carlton:

We all agree Ratten is a terrible coach on borrowed time, and most of us believe that we will miss the finals in 2010.
BUT
The real concern is the fact that almost all players at Carlton are going backwards, their development has stalled badly and this means 3-4 more years of pain.

Gibbs, Murphy, Jammo, Simpson, Garlett, Joseph, Betts, Russell, Bower, Waite, Grigg, Kreuzer, Carrazzo and Robinson have all dramtically gone backward and half a dozen other players have stagnated.

This is a club that is drowning whilst an incompetant coach and a compromised board pretend that everything is fine.

What an awesome performance that was yesterday. Just fantastic watching this side at the moment.

Their constant pressure, teamwork and confidence in each other is a beautiful thing to watch.

When Blair was picked about 5 or so weeks ago I was rapped just to see him get his chance. Didn't think he'd still be in the side with the finals coming up, but he is a beauty. As well as being a hard nut he uses it so well and makes good decisions. In saying that though, I kind of feel that a fit and firing Medhurst could be playing for either his spot or Sidey's.

And BTW, Carlton's plan of tanking for 1st round picks and giving a sackful of money (above and under the table) to Judd is looking about as good as Voss's plan for success. Richmond is in better shape than the Blues going forward.
