Varcoe will play well in our Reserves next year.
Good injury backup, as he cant even play permanent small forward as his shoulders are stuffed, and probably cant mark overhead.

Time will tell though, but he definitely wont be another Paul Medhurst

Was getting plenty of games at the Cats who I don't think anyone can argue are a better side than we are currently.

Will give us some of the run and carry we desperately need. Welcome to the club Travis.

Welcome aboard sunshine, may you do the Pies jumper proud and win yourself a 3rd premiership medal. The future is yours to write.

Welcome.

You need to start well, or you are gonna be the whipping boy bro.

Seriously, throw yourself in headfirst a couple times in your first game. Injuring yourself in the process is probably wise.

We'd rather manage without a bloke we've decided to respect than put up with a squib from the handbaggers in our team.

I wish you every success from here on in

Nah - Armstrong has him absolutely covered! He was the whipping boy of the VFL, as well as the senior list. Hard to top that.

Heh heh we're all inclusive here at Collingwood.

Armstrong shut his detractors up a bit at the end of the year - I still say if Varcoe doesn't 'go when it's his turn' early days he'll be the new 'favourite'.

A squib effort followed by a shank kick and he'll be booed off the ground.

This is probably what he needed to 'get his head around'.

So props to him for having the courage to come at all

I'd say he'd be fully aware what he'll get over the fence from Pies supporters, been on the receiving end more than enough as a Cats player.

potentially he brings quite a bit to an otherwise 'drab' starting 18...i'm coming around to his signing pretty quickly :)
