Yep - Though is it worth what he would have to Trade to get him?
Perhaps part of the reason for offering him overs (at least in year 1) is to price him out from other clubs and (I'm assuming he is out of contract at the end of 2015?) so that he has the option of nominating for the draft and Collingwood taking him (a la Luke Ball). If that is a realistic option for him then his trade value for GWS diminishes substantially and they are faced with receiving nothing (eg Port Adelaide's Nick Stevens to Carlton) or receiving something from the club Treloar wishes to move to.

I thought all year this was just rubbish talk. Every year we are linked to a gun who is supposedly leaving their respective club.

It wasn't until Pert came out and confirmed we have offered him a contract and apparently we've been looking at him for two years that I took notice.

It's nearly August all the GWS stars have signed I think and hope he's ours, I can't wait to see some class other than Pendles in the midfield next year. Oh yeah he can kick a goal too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffXYOFADEIQ

Very funny link & the related links.

Like a gushing puppy really.

So he's a good player is he? I don't k now because I don't know much about him. Perhaps MJ23 can comment on his skills / attributes & shortcomings.

Edit: just read through the 7 pages & saw MJ posted on last page.

There are no key forwards of the calibre of Treloar out of contract or available via F/A though.

Dixon is to much of a risk with his history and at his asking price.

Key forwards are prized for a reason and clubs very rarely entertain trade offers for the good ones or allow them to slip out of contract.

We can keep our first rounder and look to draft someone like Weideman if available but he's no sure thing and the hype mightn't match the talent.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Not sure how you think we can trade for Treloar & keep our first round pick?
Personally I can take him or leave him.

Witts, Seedsman and a 2nd or 3rd draft pick would get it done
I love the Pies, hate Carlscum
