Wills kicks long from a free, it falls to Wells who passes it about 4 metres to Goldie, who is paid the mark and kicks the goal. 2 in a row. I smell a comeback.

That was a beautiful bit of roving by well, front and square but the kick was shit. Pure fluke it hit Goldy, I think it was aimed for Crocker

Neat kick by Broomhead after a turnover in the centre and Wells marks uncontested about 30 metres out. He kicks the goal.

And as long as it they decide to play at half pace in the seniors, he could replicate it there.

Meanwhile, Essendon have one against the wind. And that's that.

The goal post should be reported for that high hit on the Pies player

From reading previous posts, one would conclude that Wells was a lazy, unskilled battler with few strings to his bow.

Alas he is 33 or 34, but a 29 year old Wells - talent wise - would be the equal of anybody playing in our senior team with the exception of DeGoey!

I am aware of the doom and gloom but Wells can play just a little!
He just needs games and whilst we all would want him to play in successful games as long as he stays out there and gets another 4 quarters today and plays next week that is a big win
Bucks you just reckon he can still cut it in the middle
