Didn't go to the zoo in bali in protest for those drugged animals, and had a crack at a friend posting pics with said animals, it's just wrong.
(Hope you took his advice and made the donation!)
Do they have English speaking films? Or subtitles?
Went to the cinema. Saw "The Chef", sentimental but great soundtrack & great food. English with chinese character sub-titles. The cinema guide tells you in the vast cinema complex what language the film is in & what language subtitles are available.
What made me laugh today...

Last week I was working and noticed tradie pants on special. (Seriously, bad job for someone like me, I spend too much!) so I ring hubby, hey what size do you take again, he says 97. He rings me back, 97R he says, make sure they are 97r. Why can't I get 97S so I don't have to take the up. "Because I'm not stout" he says. "Short honey, it means short length" your legs are short compared to your body. No he says it means stout. So I've just taken up 5 pairs of new pants, plus a couple that really should be in the tip, (what do guys do to the crutch of their pants, no, on second thoughts, don't tell me) until the needle finally broke.
But why? I have all different sizes, if the number upsets me, I take the tag out! And although I've been tempted to wear my USA size 6 jeans (gotta love US sizing!) inside out to show the world the tag, I really don't take much notice.
Plenty of guys are built like Fred flinstone, short legs, long body. Every woman I know would kill for legs to their armpits but. Most of us are normal. I've got friends though, who won't buy some brands because their sizes are small. One friend religiously shops at Sussan on her fat days, cos size 10 fits a 12!

I don't know how they measure it, I just know if i go into a shop and try on suit jackets off the rack shop assistants go to tears. I have long arms and wide shoulders. Give me a normal fat mans jacket and it fits like a safari suit jacket.

Haha I wouldn't describe you as a normal fat man- there's nothing normal about you!stui magpie wrote:I don't know how they measure it, I just know if i go into a shop and try on suit jackets off the rack shop assistants go to tears. Hehe!
Long arms hey, like that pic I showed you of Goodes!
I get the broad shoulders bit though, I can't get shaped tops to fit properly, so I wear a lot of singlets and sleeveless tops. Otherwise the shoulders pull or I look preggers

Bah - I would just be glad if I could get pants long enough!
So everyone who is size 10- 12 is bloody 5" 5" - no - some of us are tall not gigantic just tall
I love the "L" long lengths apparently - pfffttt knicker bockers - if I wanted to be a bay city roller well...........
Me in a frock or skirt or dress would make me ( and everyone I know) laugh shiploads

That's a rather sweeping generalization.Morrigu wrote:Bah - I would just be glad if I could get pants long enough!

Well played sir.In the next few months, Mr Albon will need to renew his driver's licence and has vowed to wear a colander on his head for that photo, too.
"What are they gonna do, come and take my car off me?"
SA Police have declined to comment.
