Wasn't Daics the 1st VFL player to have a total knee reco?

That isn't my Q tho .... here it is .....

during a fixtured match, the flagpole carrying a Premiership flag, snapped in half & fell on the crowd.

Which ground? I'd ask for the year too, but I'm stumped

WOW! That's a tough one, although I hope the flag pole fell at Princess Park or Windy Hill :twisted:
