Lancashire lose Sutcliffe (16) at 1/42. Chilton (121) and Loye (102) then put on 222 for the second wicket. They both go and Keedy goes for a duck as 3 wickets fall for 2 runs.
A couple of old stagers, Stuart Law and Carl Hooper, then set off on a
360 run partnership before Hoops goes for 177 (8 sixes !!) 43 runs later, Law departs for 168. Chapple's 60 and 67 extras produce a total of 781
Best of the bowlers ? Wagh took 7 for 222 from 49.5 overs.
