Friday Night Pre-game Drinks!

Post by Sly »

Hey yo, all.

For those interested, we're trying to organize a Pre-game get together for drinks and chat before the Collingwood-thumping-of-the-Saints Match that night.

The locale is: the Golden Age Hotel-Bistro Section.
The address is: 287 King Street.
The time is: 5:00 p.m. onwards.
And the date: 16th February, 2001.

There's two entries to the Golden Age - one on the corner of King Street & Little Londsale Street, which leads into the bar, and one a few doors down on the King Street side to the Bistro section, which also provides a familial atmosphere.

For further details, check the Odyssey Banner of Buckley's Surfers and the Odyssey Link in the Features section of The Collingwood Rant, (although I think that's all the details!)

Thanks, all.

So I meet up with Sly and lads at about 5 at, I think, a pinkish colour pub on King street, off at 6 to meet my friends at the bar over Spencer St station, then head off for a start of the season drink or two with Joffa. A pickling start to the season. Buy CUB shares, that what I say.

Late start for work tomorrow, gotta wash me footy going gear. Wear it to work, then head of early to meet up with Sly.

Argh, its good to have footy back again.

I presume I will be able to buy my membership. Does anyone know if I will need cash or will they accept credit card outside the stadium?

Greg last year I paid by credit card outside the 'g' though before the first game so I would imagine you could do the same.
