Yes its umpire Andrew Coates who up until today we had found quite charming. We met him at the High Commission function at Australia House on Thursday. Offered him bribes and all but he still managed to give us a 100 metre penalty!!!
When I asked him after the game, WTF was that all about? he replied
"a career first for him"......and they get paid to do this!!! And as for that orange gear they wear, should be yellow for lemons I think!!
