Scotland yes; McKee doubtful.
Port have lack of depth in height and ruck but can't see McKee really filling their requirements given that he has suffered as much under new ruck rules as Primus did.
Do we have someone else tall on our list that could be traded?

Trade Scotland for a top 10 pick then offer Port the top 10 pick and our pick 17.
Although not sure if anyone will take Scotland for a top 10 despite his obvious talent.

Ch 7 news reckons that Port want Didak. I think they also mentioned that Collingwood said no. I'm sorry Port, but Dids isn't going anywhere.

Ever since the Stevens deal has been on the cards I have been scared that Port would want Didak for the obvious reasons.
Hopefully Alan doesn't want to go back and hence that part of the deal doesn't eventuate. But having said that he is an ex Port Adelaide player, ex SA and his girlfriend still lives over there as is his family.
It would have to be a straight swap with no draft picks however.
Lets face it, we really don't have much bargaining power as our first pick is 17 and 2nd and 3rds are out of the equation due to father-and-sons. McKee, Kinnear, Betheras, McGough are nowehere in the Stevens class so we may have to sacrifice a gifted player to get another one.
I guess we see alot more of Didak and know he is going to be a real gun player. Stevens however I don't know yet, he is only 23 so will improve alot more.
The worst thing we could do is keep Didak, miss out of Stevens and then in 2 years time when Didak wants to go back home, we get stitched up by Port in a no win deal.

.
Guess who else played for Port, and now plays for Collingwood? Nathan Buckley. Port tried to woo him, and he didn't return. Just because people played for a club, doesn't necessarily mean they will return to that club.
I also heard that his girlfriend was moving over during the pre-season, and that he has bought a house over here.

Not Didak please!!!!!!!!. I thought i wouldn;t be worried by trading etc this year but now that Didak's name's been thrown up(by the all knowing media
,it will scare me if Didak goes back home. His new home is melbourne
(is this another rumour,to make us go crazy).
*Hadn't Didak already signed up for the pies this year??????*.
(I'm i the only person to be confused by this trading business?)

Mark Williams is showing that he is as unsophisticated in his trading maneourvres as he is in his pre-finals match preparations. The guy is dreaming if he thinks two first round draft picks are coming Ports way. No-one will give that up, so Stevens enters the draft and Port and their back-to-back champion minor-premiership winning coach end up with what amounts to footballing buggery.

NO NO NO NO NO PLEEEEAAAAAAASEEEEE NO
Didak is going to be worth 2 Nick Stevens. He will be as good as James Hird. He has been a star since day one. Who nailed the coffin in Brisbane in th Qual? The Dids. Only a very very very high quality player could have did what he did. It was dare i say it Jordanesque.
Personally i think Dids, being the showman that he is will want to stay. Why go back to those puffs? Why be adored by 25,000 toothless grannies and their inbred sons when you can be adored by 70,000. Like Shaq, when you leave Florida for LA you don't go back.
All these guys and their small town girlfriends... MOVE ON. Cmon leave the bird for your moccasinned mates and grab some Melbourne chicks - hotter than a sauna and more faithful than ol' yella (unless of course your last name is Stevens...)

Didak CAN'T be traded as far as i'm aware, he signed a 3 year deal earlier this year and you can't be traded within a year of a signed contract. If collingwood would even consider that trade then we'd be as stupid as carlton and richmond.
