I love all the speculation; well it ceases at 1.30pm today. The longer the Stevens saga drags on the better for Collingwood, as Port will buckle under the pressure of getting nothing. With their no.1 sponsor jumping up and down after them choking again, if they let one of their quality players go for nothing there will be blood. If Stevens wants to go to Carlton they will tell him to go into the draft, as the dogs could not afford him.

On 3AW the morons gave a list of 10 players who will be at Carlton. Now how they get them amuses me. They can't trade till round 3 and only have about 3 players to offer other clubs. I honestly don't think they thought about that statement before they made it.

Players will go to where they want to, in today's short team lists you need everyone committed. You are not going to pick up a player for 350k + a year that's not enthused about playing for you.

Out of our hands peeps, but I love all the talk and opinions of different players. Keep it up.

I agree Culprit. I heard Dwayne Russell rattle off all these players that were going to Carlton and I too was wondering how the hell they were going to trade to get them.

Neil Blame did say on Sport927 this morning that if a deal cannot be done to satisfy Port and it means Stevens will go into the pre-season draft then it will just have to be. Collingwod will not give up required players.

I guess thats Port's issue if they wish to go down that path because they have alot more to loose than Collingwood.

I thought one of the rules is that you can't trade mroe than five players during the trading period.

The trade deadline is actually 2:00pm and not 1:30pm as stated here.

We won't know the answer/s until 3:00pm because going from past years these deals complete at death knock. I

believe Nicky Davis to Sydney was completed with just minutes to spare. The Anthony Rocca deal was done a couple of hours after the deadline, much to the anger of other clubs.

Patience is the key here....what time is it again???????????
