Star midfielder Nick Stevens remains firm in his desire to nominate for next month's pre-season draft, despite Port Adelaide's refusal to delist him before yesterday's 2pm deadline.

While it had been reported the Power was leaving the door open for Stevens to return, the player's manager said it was, and always had been, the 23-year-old's intention to enter the pre-season draft since trade negotiations fell through early last month.

Port Adelaide is expected to keep Stevens on its list until December 2, when Stevens can nominate for the pre-season draft.
Apparently, he can quit, but really, how pathetic are Port?

Port are amazing. They pour all sorts of crap on him, provoke the membership into hating the guy and then suggest he might like to come back to them. If the Port administration isn't the worst in the league I don't know who is... OK OK, Carlton, Bulldogs, Melbourne, Richmond are all in the hunt too. Oh, and St Kilda.
