What if we could record all our chants with the music and every thing like say on a cassette or something and how would we do this and what do yous think about this idea ?

And what about this one its a ripper but dont laugh ok,well lets be the front runners and innovative out of all the cheer squads
'lets not die wondering'what about a video, something like we are on a battle field amidst smoke and cannon fire and from a distance you can hear 'youll never walk alone'or 'good old collingwood 4 ever'and then you see the magpie army all of us holding flags and marching through the battle field with heads held high ignoring the mayhem and cannon fire and smoke and maybe show some highlites from collingwood victories,would this be costly to do and what do yous think ?
PS if any of yous buggers laugh i'll come looking for you on friday night!!!!

I can really see that happening........ maybe if u asked Eddie and see what he thinks....... Or maybe Alf might be able to find out how much it would cost....... Anyway sounds good.....

It can cost as much or as little as you like, depending on whether you want to do it as a low budget thing or as a big production bigger-than-Ben-Hur type of thing. So, anything from the cost of a blank video cassette to $100,000 or more.

The recording of the chants can be done for next to nothing using audio and MIDI software and a CD burner.

I've been working on a song just lately ... a Collingwood footy anthem (I hope). I've got a few lyrics jotted down and some very basic musical ideas. More on that later.

Sounds like an awesome idea. I like the use of 'You'll never walk alone'. If you are looking for someone to put it together a good idea is to contact the film schools as they are always looking for projects to put together for their assignments. I am sure the cast (yourself and fellow Magpies) will do it all for free and the uni kid gets a piece of work.

A good place to start is a magazine called 'Independent filmmakers'. They have a production pages section.
